We drove from Alaska and ended up running into bad weather and we were extremely tired. We needed a warm bed and a place to stretch out. 2 am and they had one room left. We crashed on their clean beds and woke up to a bison out our back window! 50 some miles down the road I realized I... More

Dingy room, no tea making facilities, no fridge, no microwave and very few TV stations although room was clean. I payed less for miles better accomodation at the Elkhorn Lodge. In short, this is a room with a bed in it. If that's all you want then you'll be fine.

This motel looked very neat and clean from the highway, and the room was also neat and clean. However, everything was older but well kept up. No in-room appliances, only 3 TV channels, $77 with tax. Good mountain view from the grassy area out front, and Hoosier's Bar was the best in town, once it opened. Cooke City is rustic/funky,... More
