Just stayed at this dump on a family vacation, and it easily was the worst hotel I have ever experienced. If it weren't for the fact that my tour required this to be our hotel for two nights I would have never even checked in. The place just looks run down. They didn't have housekeepers come to your room because... More

If you are travelling over the Beartooth, there are not a lot of options. This place was modest, clean and the town was about as honest and open as you could hope for. Go there. Stay there. Drive the road with wonder in your mind!

Excellent position just a few minutes from the east entrance to Yellowstone. Rooms are a good size, well equiped and clean but the plumbing was a bit noisy (might be ok in upper floor rooms). Staff were ok but not what you would call friendly. The guy on the desk argued with me when I said I had booked the... More

nice cozy little room ,clean ...had easy access to our car.the staff was very friendly and accommodating ....but the bed was hard as a rock ...we didn't hardly sleep at all..so uncomfortable ... the 2 things you look for in a room is cleanliness and comfort...was clean...but you need to get some new mattresses !

Stayed in apartment with microwave and fridge. Comfortable bed with good quality clean linen. Carpet clean as was bath and working heater. Surprised at the number of poor reviews as my wife and I are seasoned travellers and considered this motel was fine. No wifi or cell connection but is this really necessary !! Friendly staff who readily provided hair... More

We stayed one night. There were gnats around, which the hotel keepers cannot help, but some were in the room. There were quilts and matching pillow covers that were rustic and probably nice when they were first put out, but they were dirty enough that neither my wife or I wanted to come into close contact with them. The motel... More

We have stayed at The Alpine in Apt. 1A for 17 of the last 20 years - but unless there are some big changes, we will never stay there again. In the past, we have brought our family and recommended the Alpine to our friends. It was always basic but clean. We missed 2013 and 2014 and we can't believe... More

This place offers everything you need to stay for a night or two even if you are with friends and family.I loved the rustic look the rooms have. The only issue with the city is poor network else it's such a beautiful place that you would wish to stay there longer. The view from the hotel was even spectacular.Didnt have any issue... The Alpine, while not elegant, is very clean, functional, and comfortable. It seems to be right out of the 50's. However, if you can't find lodging in Yellowstone, it's an excellent alternative. People get up early, so you'll hear cars leaving, but get up early yourselves to see animals in the park and you won't mind.
