I and my 80 year old dad stayed here on 7/23/2014. I had read a couple of negative reviews, but I shouldn't have been concerned. This is a very nice and clean property run by a man and his family. My dad is very finicky, but he agreed the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, everything worked, and security... More

Now there isn't much to do in Cooke City but you can't beat the drive there and the scenery! The Cooke City Alpine was small but clean rooms. Very dated. The shower handle came off and the shower would not turn off but the staff took care of it very quick! The lady at check in was not the friendliest.... More

Clean and comfortable room, a bit rustic and well priced for the area, fridge and microwave. Close to the NE entrance to Yellowstone Park and the Lamar Valley, the best place to see wildlife in the lower 48. Staff was very helpful with lost item. This is NOT a luxury property, the room temperature will likely be cool, there's no... More

Traveling as a large party with multiple families, we rented both of the 'suites' for one night expecting to make dinner when we arrived. We arrived at 7 PM expecting to get started on dinner only to find both suites were still filthy from the previous guests. The sheets from the prior occupants were still on the beds with pet... More

Stayed july 3, 2014 in room 20. Called 1-2 days prior and got great service on the phone. Check in went smoothly. Room reasonably priced IMO for peak season. Clean room, small micro and fridge. Comfortable bed. Not fancy and definitely motel style, not a hotel or b&b, but just what we were looking for-an affordable place to sleep in... More

Beds uncomfortable. Place was freezing cold. No coffee in the rooms, complimentary is available in reception but get this - only from 8am - 10am. Want a coffee any other time and you have to go across the road to the bistro they also own and pay through the nose. Staff attitude is dismissive. All the young kids that work... More

I registered for us to stay here. We got in late due to travel delays. The keys were NOT in the drop box, the phone did not work, and when I got somewhere that someone was willing to help us figure out where our place was, and let us use their phone, NO ONE ANSWERED!! I called my bank to... More

First, the positives, the two bedroom suite was large and clean......and reasonably priced. Now for the negatives, The employees are not an asset to the place. They let me know when I checked in that the owner was out of town and they were not happy about that. Between the creaking noises in my room and the hot water heater... More

We have stayed here several times over the years and the motel and management have gone downhill. Not as clean, noisy and management mostly missing. Try to get information in writing as they will change he story on you. No phone, no cell service, no internet.

This motel touts its establishment as being beyond clean. Actually, it is just clean enough; could be cleaner. There was a 2 inch wide dust trail around the perimeter of the room, as it has not been vacuumed close to the walls, and there were bits of food on the floor around the mini-fridge. The bedspread and sheets are worn... More
