I plan to go back there is lots to do and the room was very relaxing. If your a snowmobiler you'll love this place the beauty that is around you is breath takeing. I loved the rams that wasn't far from the hotel we watched with maze that the rams would come so close to humans.

We needed a place to stay on our way out of Yellowstone because we were going to drive the Bear Tooth Highway the next morning - that is the only reason I can think of why you would want to stay at this hotel. We had a third-floor room with all our luggage and not even an elevator. WIFI did... More

Not a resort, but everything you need for a good nights rest after a day in the mountains or Yellowstone. Nice waffle maker with the breakfast lay out to fuel you up for the great outdoors. Be warned, if your hungry, get to one of the local restaurants early - they roll up the sidewalks in Cooke City early.

This was like being in a third world country. The Wi Fi was not operable. When I questioned the manager he said "when a lot of people are using Wi Fi it is iffy." Come on. Install a more robust system.

Spent several nights in Cooke City at this motel. It is the most bare-bones Super 8 I have stayed in. We were in a "2 queen beds" room About this motel: - There is no elevator in this 3-story motel, but the second floor can be accessed from ground level at the rear, because the motel is built into a... A buddy and I stayed here during a fishing trip in the Lamar Valley of Yellowstone. Cooke City is only 5 miles east of the NE Entrance to Yellowstone and very convenient for our plans. The two rooms were clean, as was the bathroom, and very comfortable. Both rooms had problems with the thermostat as the rooms were very warm.... More

While the accommodations were fine for this very small and isolated town outside the NE entrance to Yellowstone, and the staff was very helpful, one of our rooms had a broken heating/cooling system and during the night the heat went up to 85 degrees. It was a ground floor room on the south and when you look out the window... More

first I would like to say that Steve was a great guy, stood outside with us, entertained us with stories of the area and is that not why you go to these small towns. room was clean even tho there was roudyness going on from the rally, so what put some ear plugs in and go to sleep or join... More

I think this motel is reasonably new, as everywhere was spotless ans newly painted. Good linen and carpets. We didn't experience the breakfast as we left at 5.30 to search for wolves in the park, should have had breakfast instead! It was pleasantly quiet with the usual plumbing noises experienced in motels. I would recommend

We stayed in Cooke City for 4 nights. It was refreshing to NOT have air conditioning. Instead, there was a ceiling fan and the window opened. Housekeeping was below average because the desk clerk also cleaned the rooms and changed the linens. We had to request coffee and towels at the desk twice. The breakfast bar was acceptable but with... More
