My daughter and I stayed at Skyline for the one night before they took us on a 5 night/6day horse packing trip through the Lamar Valley up to the Hoodoo Basin at 10,000 ft. The beds were really comfortable, the bath was nice and large and we had a great breakfast the next morning before we set off. We met... More

We stayed here between traveling over Beartooth All American Road one day and Yellowstone the next day. It is very convenient to both. The log cabin is huge and beautiful and surrounded by huge pines. Even though we didn't ride, we enjoyed watching the horses and dogs interact. Our room was on the small side, but comfortable. There are all... More

My husband and I stayed here on our way out of Yellowstone Park for one night. Cooke City is a nice location for Yellowstone and Beartooth Pass highway, beautiful drive. Nice people and very helpfull. Did not stay for the breakfast, served a little late as we wanted to do the Beartooth Pass before our next destination. Our only other... More

My family and I just stayed here for one night on our way over the Beartooth pass into Yellowstone. It provided a perfect start to our trip. The property is beautiful and quiet, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. My kids loved the horses, dogs, campfire, ping-pong table, and the rustic setting. The room was comfortable and clean.... More

My wife and I stayed here for a night on our way to Yellowstone. This was the first time at a bed and breakfast. I was not sure what to expect. The owners and staff were very nice and welcoming when we checked in. The room was OK but not great. No air conditioning which was not too bad. There... More

Spent two nights on this beautiful ranch, staying on the third floor. All amenties catered for with a home cooked breakfast every morning. There's also a hot tub outside to warm your aching feet after trekking around Yellowstone! Lost hot water in the shower on the second day but only a minor quibble for an overall extremely positive experience.

We stayed at the Skyline Guest Ranch during a trip to Yellowstone Park in July and were extremely happy with our choice. The hosts of the guest ranch are very friendly and provided a full breakfast each day. The rooms were spacious and reasonably priced and contained everything we needed for a short trip. The nearby town - Cooke City,... More

We recently stayed at Skyline for 4 nights. My dad and I needed a base camp for our fishing trip in Yellowstone. Everyone at Skyline was friendly and treated us great. We spent a day with Luke and Lukas on a fishing trip to Yellowstone River where we caught more Cut Throat Trout than I have caught in a very... More

I was on a cross country motorcycle trip and my bucket list included riding the Beartooth Highway. It turned out that Cooke City, MT was on this route at its western terminus and was coincidentally five miles from Yellowstone National Park's entrance. So i wanted a place to stay that would set me up for an early morning run at... More

I first found this place by chance during a father-son road trip up Beartooth, and on a whim we decided to give it a try. Amazing! So I brought my wife back this year, and we stayed in the spacious, comfy, perfectly-priced Yellowstone Suite in their lodge, and did a sunset 2-hour ride led by Quincy. The horses are gentle...
