I thought I had actually written a review in July when we returned but I guess not. My wife and I attended a wedding on the 24th and 25th. Being from Minnesota we have our fair share of lakes but this place is absolutely beautiful. The chef was amazing, the overall customer service was excellent. The only downside...which is a... More

I have been trying to get to Holland Lake Lodge for years. Finally, I got to experience it. The setting is beyond breathtaking. Christian is the quintessential host. The food was delicious. They have thought of every detail. My only regret is that we didn't get to stay longer. Put Holland Lake Lodge on your bucket list.

Our group of seven rug hookers gathered for a few days of hooking in the cozy lobby of the lodge. We had excellent food, comfy rooms in the lodge and were able to share our craft with other guests. These impromptu conversations were great as we could share this little known art form and learn more about the other guests,... More

We spent 5 days with our entire family 18 in all at this beautiful place. Every family unit had their own cabin. The food was wonderful and Christian and Nancy took care of every detail to make our stay an unforgettable experience. Many things to do in the area to keep all ages entertained. Can't wait to go back again!

We haven't stopped reminiscing about Holland Lake Lodge since our visit two weekends ago! What a beautiful fall weekend we were blessed with- and thank you to Christian and Nancy for making it even more memorable for us! Their service and ability to be so personable with their guests is what makes it an authentic Montana experience. Also, the food... More

It is really hard to add to the excellent reviews others have posted and I must say what a laugh to read the negative reviews. ......those folks should stay at Motel 6 and gripe. The grandeur of Swan Mountains reflecting into Holland lake is only surpassed by the sunrises and sunsets of these same scenes. It truly set the mood... More

We stayed in two adjoining cabins on gorgeous Holland Lake. The cabins are rustic with full bath (shower/tub combo). A great compromise between "real" camping and a luxury hotel (we had our 7 month old granddaughter with us). They even provided a pack and play for her free of charge. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were included with the price of... More

This is a gorgeous old lodge on Holland Lake. You can use their canoes and kayaks for free and hike along the lake to a beautiful waterfall. It's very pleasant to sit in the main room of the lodge, or in chairs on the lawn, and read. Wi-fi is sporadic and there's no cellular coverage, but that's mostly a good... More

We arrived at the most beautiful old lodge for dinner. Waited for our reservation out side on the lawn overlooking the lake as we sipped our drinks and enjoyed the fantastic views. We went inside to enjoy a wonderful evening sipping on some very expensive cheap wine and very small portion of salad which was tasty. All the while having... More

Dear Henry M, I am so sorry you are having nightmares over your dining experience at Holland Lake Lodge. You ordered starters instead of entrees, despite having had the menu explained to you. The server offered to bring you entrees when you complained about the portion size of the starters you had ordered. Other patrons, the server, and our entire... More
