Me and my wife decided to go to Montana for our honeymoon and we couldn't choose a better place, the cabin had everything that we needed and more, is located not that close from the nearest town but not that far either...is in the perfect place, just 15 minutes from west glacier national park. The owner Ryan was very nice,... More

we had a wonderful stay. location is excellent. perfect distance from GNP, town/restaurants/stores, yet still far enough out to get the backcountry montana feel. enjoyed using the bikes to head down to the river nearby, and the firepit /BBQ area was a plus! will return and highly recommend. *VERY CLEAN*

We arrived to a beautiful cabin with two rooms (big enough for a family), that were clean and new and lovingly decorated ! Every thing we could possibly want was included in the large kitchen, and was of good quality- a noticeable difference from many rental cabins. We grilled out under the stars, next to the outdoor firepit, before heading... More

We loved our stay at the Reclusive Moose! The cabin was small but extremely well-appointed and serviceable. The owners, Ryan and Christie, could not have been more accommodating. They struck a perfect balance of being there to assist, provide and recommend while never being intrusive. The cabins are spaced and situated so that they felt very private. We enjoyed grilling... Just returned from Glacier NP and stayed at these cabins. Great, clean Cabins with everything you need. We stayed in the "Elk" Cabin, 2 bedrooms, 1 double bed, 2 twins, 1 loft bed , Full Kitchen, common fire-pit area. Hosts are very gracious and stop by often to see if everything is going well. No AC , but it is... More

We were very surprised to hear from Ryan, the owner, that the cabins are three years old - they are completely spotless and look like they were just built! Our family of four stayed in the Moose cabin and our friends stayed in the Elk cabin. The decor in both cabins was fun, up-to-date and comfortable. I agree with one... More

The Best!! We have stayed at seven different places in or near Glacier National Park. Each of the locations had some great feature--some the view, some the convenience, but we loved the comfort and convenience of the Reclusive Moose. About 10 minutes from the West Gate of Glacier, it had all the comforts of home. Our cabin had two bedrooms... More

The cabin was clean and the setting is beautiful!! Not good for little kids..... There is no AC, which is not an issue if you do not have small children. Although, in a safe area, I was not going to leave the window in my 4 year olds room open for many reasons. The cabin is small but if you... More

Dear Traveler Thank you for writing a review of your stay with us here at the Reclusive Moose cabins. We are very sorry to hear that your experience was a poor one specifically regarding the bed comfort and Montana AC. We can understand that beds are a personal preference & it can be very hard to accommodate each and everyone’s... More

Our visit to the Reclusive Moose was simply wonderful. The hosts provided a cozy little cabin (We stayed in the Trout cabin) that easily accommodated our two adults and two teenagers with a well stocked kitchen and many other needed amenities (like a book of hikes and bear spray!). The cabin was 'modern rustic', very clean, well-built, quiet and perfect... More

These beautiful little cabins are a nice quiet place to stay near the park. Ryan and his wife have thought of everything-the cabins are stocked with everything from cups and plates to bear spray. They are decorated nicely and very comfortable. If you take the back road over to route 2 and Glacier, be sure to stop at Paul's memorial... More
