Just returned from Glacier NP and stayed at these cabins. Great, clean Cabins with everything you need. We stayed in the "Elk" Cabin, 2 bedrooms, 1 double bed, 2 twins, 1 loft bed , Full Kitchen, common fire-pit area. Hosts are very gracious and stop by often to see if everything is going well. No AC , but it is... More

We were very surprised to hear from Ryan, the owner, that the cabins are three years old - they are completely spotless and look like they were just built! Our family of four stayed in the Moose cabin and our friends stayed in the Elk cabin. The decor in both cabins was fun, up-to-date and comfortable. I agree with one... More

The Best!! We have stayed at seven different places in or near Glacier National Park. Each of the locations had some great feature--some the view, some the convenience, but we loved the comfort and convenience of the Reclusive Moose. About 10 minutes from the West Gate of Glacier, it had all the comforts of home. Our cabin had two bedrooms... More

The cabin was clean and the setting is beautiful!! Not good for little kids..... There is no AC, which is not an issue if you do not have small children. Although, in a safe area, I was not going to leave the window in my 4 year olds room open for many reasons. The cabin is small but if you... More

Dear Traveler Thank you for writing a review of your stay with us here at the Reclusive Moose cabins. We are very sorry to hear that your experience was a poor one specifically regarding the bed comfort and Montana AC. We can understand that beds are a personal preference & it can be very hard to accommodate each and everyone’s... More

Our visit to the Reclusive Moose was simply wonderful. The hosts provided a cozy little cabin (We stayed in the Trout cabin) that easily accommodated our two adults and two teenagers with a well stocked kitchen and many other needed amenities (like a book of hikes and bear spray!). The cabin was 'modern rustic', very clean, well-built, quiet and perfect... More

These beautiful little cabins are a nice quiet place to stay near the park. Ryan and his wife have thought of everything-the cabins are stocked with everything from cups and plates to bear spray. They are decorated nicely and very comfortable. If you take the back road over to route 2 and Glacier, be sure to stop at Paul's memorial... More

Ryan and crew have thought everything in them little cabins. All you need to bring for a great getaway is yourself and some food. We came early in the season and were the only people there, and may have even got a little carried away at night, but they provided everything you could ever need for a great nights stay... More

Another hotel recommended reclusive Moose (we wanted quiet)since everything was either booked or on a noisy road ! We arrived to the Bear cabin and was so impressed at how clean, cute , quiet and beautifully located to the Park it was. hiking was our goal and unfortunately the next day the government closed all the state parks! Ryan was... More

The Trout cabin at Reclusive Moose was such a welcome surprise after a long day hiking in Glacier! After researching the many places to stay in West Glacier, Reclusive Moose was clearly the best quality and value. Owners were friendly and it was very easy to book our stay. Surprisingly close to the park entrance on a back road. Our... More

We returned to The Reclusive Moose Cabins because we wanted space, a kitchen and close location to Glacier National Park. It was everything we remembered and more. Clean, quiet, convenient, nicely built cabins. A tiny bit off the beaten path but not much. We love it and will return again and again!
