Comfortable and fun. We stayed in the Cottage and loved the little sleeping nook in the loft for our 3 year old twins. They thought it a great adventure to snuggle down inside. The house had everything and more and is perfectly located near Glacier Park. It's classy and feels like a five star resort but quiet and peaceful. Very affordable!... More

A family gathering of 18 - eight adults and 10 kids ages 5-17. We simply LOVED the west side of Glacier National Park! From spectacular hikes in the park to shopping in Kalispell and Whitefish, we enjoyed adventure, sophistication, natural wonder and the joy of family. Mountain Cleft provided the "base camp" for our varied wanderings. We all stayed in... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The accommodations were perfect for our family reunion. With the multiple kitchens, bathrooms, laundry facilities, and many bedrooms for sleeping.. we did not trip over one another. It was truly enjoyable to have everyone at one location. The place is spacious enough (with different entry points to different living areas) that it still provides... More

We had such an amazing stay at Mountain Cleft. It was some dirt roads to get to, and as you are driving, you are thinking, WHERE am I going, but it is WELL worth navigating your way through some beautiful country to find. 6 of us stayed in the Chalet. The kitchen was well equipped and we BBQ'ed and let... More

Great, roomy place. Convenient to the park. Unfortunately, the water smells of sulfuric acid, and you smell it when you turn on the tap, shower, drink it, or wash your clothes. We mentioned it to the owner, and the caretaker of the property says he did the same in the spring when he first moved in next door. Owner needs... More

We arrived late at night, but the directions were simple and we found it easily. Even in the dark, the chalet was beautiful. Our room felt like we were in a castle turret, in the royal quarters. The bed was comfortable, the furnishings are first-class, and the amenities were beyond our expectations. Every room is uniquely decorated with taste and... More

We decided to visit Glacier National Park for our anniversary 2 weeks before leaving. Everything in the park was booked when I initially checked so I emailed several owners on VRBO. Later after booking then cancelling due to the reviews on Tripadvisor a room at Many Glacier , we chose to stay at Mountain Cleft Retreat. We are so glad... More
