You're right there; just a few steps off the back porch and you're in to the fish! We had both beginners and seasoned anglers and everyone had a wonderful time. The Slide Inn is a few frills rustic fishing lodge owned by world renowned innovative fly fishing guide, Kelly Galloup. The lodge sits on the banks of the Madison River just below Quake Lake. This is a great place to stay right on the Madison River. Kelly was in the Fly shop and offered a great time talking fishing. I would recommend his fly shop to anyone and stay here again. Be prepared to throw sticks for his dog.

Spectacular setting (20 feet from the Madison River!), the clean and comfortable cabins may be your base, but the river, the fish, the guides, and the owner/operator (streamer-fishing guru, Kelly Galloup) are the reasons to come, and to come back! A first-class guided fishing operation on legendary waters, with Kelly's gift for storytelling for entertainment...it just doesn't get much better... More

Stayed a couple nights, room was clean with nice amenities. For a fishing destination it was a pleasant surprise. Also great fly shop on premises with guide service and primo knowledge about the Madison.

Very friendly owner, beautiful surroundings, great views. Close access to Madison River. Fly shop on premises. Guides available.In addition to cabins, full hook ups for RVs. Laundry facilities. Many local attractions in close driving range, Quake Lake, & Yellowstone National Park.
