This is my second stay at the Finlen. I love the ambiance and proximity to all the uptown Butte attractions. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My room, though small, was clean, attractive, and comfortable. The Finlen is my first choice hotel when I revisit Butte!

I thought it would be fun to spend the night in this historic hotel..the lobby was beautiful,the staff friendly...but the room was very small ..the shower smelled musty and was VERY small ! the room had just enough room for a bed and dresser and I found a small bit of food stuck to my sheets...don't know where that came... Booked a suite, pleased with the results. Room was well appointed and exceptionally clean even the windows. Although no resturant on site, the Cavilier Lounge was a welcome watering hole. Such a nice departure from the Motel stays that seem to be pretty much all the same.

It is a nice relaxing hotel with history. The rooms in the winter are heated with a radiator and thankfully the windows open to allow for cooling. The beds were a bit stiff, made for a hard night sleeping. I would definitely stay again, just would be nice to have a little softer bed.

This hotel is such a gem, and for the price is a bargain. This time travelling in winter, the only issue I had is that the steam heater was so hot with no controls in the room, that we had to sleep with the window open.
