This is the real deal if you want to see wolves in action. We were serenaded in the mornings and in the evenings; each wolf has a different howl. Although the wolf area is a large 4+ acres, viewing is easy. Stayed for 3 days and had a wonderful breakfast every morning. Mary-Martha & Chris were kind enough to accommodate... More

this would be the place to live! As it turns out, this human had the opportunity to be on the receiving end of the kindnesses the owner's of this Inn bestow. Learning the history of how this sanctuary started and seeing all put into action is amazing. Mary Martha and Chris have extensive knowledge of the area and its activities.... More

Last winter I made a late decision to travel to Bozeman at the end of February , so it was a trip with essentially no advance planning . Wanting to find lodging outside of town for the first few nights , and relatively near to Bridger Bowl , I was pleased to come across the Howlers website . It looked... More

Joe, thanks so much for taking the time to write this review, we really appreciate it! We loved having the opportunity to talk to you, and loved how you turned a low-snow season here into an opportunity to do things you might not otherwise have done. We look forward to seeing you again some time. More

Ok, the wolves were fun, but basically dogs with an edge. They are an advantage to this place, but there is much more. The family is special. Very relaxed and welcoming, and very informative about the area -- from hikes, to museums, to shopping, to restaurants, etc. -- and of course encyclopedias on wolves. And the breakfast part was fabulous... More

I don't even know where to begin. We found this place at the last minute and were won over by the fact that it is a B&B with a wolf sanctuary. We weren't expecting much but we were excited to see the wolves so we made a booking and made our way there. We pulled into their driveway and... Just... More

After leaving Jackson we drove through Yellowstone Park to get here. As we left the park through the North Entrance the Sat Nav said we had another 50 odd miles to the highway then another 20 odd miles to Bozeman. I was cursing my wife under my breath as I drove on because when she booked this she told me... More

The wolves, the food, the location, the wildlife, and the hospitality of Chris and Mary Martha were all excellent. The attention to detail was wonderful every step of the way. I had to be to a workshop in Bozeman everyday (only took 15 minutes to get to Emerson Gallery from Howler's) and I had a magnificent breakfast daily that catered... More

Jody, thanks so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. You were such a delight to have stay. I really appreciated you sharing your knowledge and experience in the arts. And your sculpture was magnificent. Please send me a photo of the finish piece! Have a wonderful summer. Mary-Martha More

This place was amazing. On a road trip from Chicago to Seattle this was the best sleep we got all week and obviously spent a lot of time with our faces pressed to the bedroom windows watching the wolves play (and petting them as well!). The hosts were friendly, helpful, and excellent cooks! Not much else you could ask for.

This is an Inn with its own wolf sanctuary. The rooms are beautifully and thoughtfully appointed; comfortable, with every amenity a normal traveler could want. Downstairs there is a veranda from which to take in the Montana scenery, a recreation room with a pool table, a hot tub, but most of all there is Mary- Martha who does a great... More

I really only came here during a trip to MT to see & spend time with the wolves. BUT this stay offered even more! It had the amenities of a 5 star hotel, while being in nature, with the feel of a cabin, and wonderful hosts!
