While driving up, "Redrum! Redrum!" kept going through my head as the resort itself is eerily Shining-esque - an imposing edifice in the middle of nowhere with a colorful history. I was simultaneously intrigued and slightly nervous. As we headed toward the entrance to check in, we were greeted by classical, live violin music that was eerily wafting from an... More

First off, this wasn't a one time stop at a hot springs, the wife and I had just completed a week long hot springs Harley tour with Yellowstone being the center. We cant name drop here on trip advisor, but anyone can google commercial hot springs near Missoula, Yellowstone, and thermopolis. the last stop on our way back home in... More

First the good The food was good... Indoor men's and woman's hot tubs were good. Bad. We asked for a bottom floor room because of my leg issues but we're told only an upstairs room was a available. It turned out, the hotel was empty the small hot room on the 3rd floor was hot, bed poor and no elevator.... More

I had studied the website and reviews. I really wanted to like this place. We travelled 5 hours to get here, planning to stay overnight. Surprise, they don't allow dogs. The desk person said the owners turn away a lot of business because of this. The place is so big- pick a couple pet friendly rooms and get more business?... More

We stayed with our friends here for just one night arriving in the mid afternoon. My husband had a massage which he really enjoyed, deep tissue just the way he liked. We all swam in outdoor pool which while older style was still enjoyable. Our room was the diamond s suite, decorated in old western style, very nice, for others... More

We have visited Boulder Hot Springs for almost twenty years--mostly for day trips, but also occasionally for an overnight stay in the B&B. Most recently we took my mother to BHS for a Mother's Day meal which was really delicious, although simple. We dined on Montana prime rib, mashed potatoes, and fresh mixed vegetables. The meal also included French onion... More

In the end, the hot pools were fine albeit small and segregated. The outdoor pool was nice but weather dependent. Room was fine. Breakfast was tasty, although a buffet should have options, otherwise it's just plating your own food from a predetermined menu. Reservations and the front desk was moat of the most confusing and unresponsive processes I've ever encountered.... More

Breakfast choices were many and good. the surrounding open lands are peace-inducing and the facility is clean and peaceful. The Northern Pacific room had lots of railroad memorabilia, a treat for one family member. I wish the outdoor pool had less obtrusive lighting than the blinding sodium vapor lights, but the pool is great in the daytime and the indoor... More

I love coming to Boulder Hot Springs! The staff are friendly, courteous and inviting - as well as funny - I had a few laughs with them! The breakfasts are great, and the rooms are decorated with style. They are all "themed" around different subjects ranging from cowboys to roses. Their bed & breakfast option is wonderful and the "feel"... More

This is a great place to stay if you want a quiet weekend. Typical of Montana hot springs, it's a bit funky but that's what makes it so great. Clean, cozy and great soaking pools. The rooms are charming. Keep an eye out for the ghosts who supposedly haunt the hotel. Originally built in the 1890's, it was remodeled in... More
