Great room, great beer and great food. Would love to return when the place is hopping. Love the location. We would definitely return. Meet some cool locals at the brew pub who told us about the place.

It's actually not even in Big Fork. It's in Woods Bay. 4.8 miles past Big Fork. That said, it is on Flathead Lake and the room was very nice and clean. Across the street at The Raven, food was quite good. If you are headed to the park and don't mind a little drive, this place is good and the... More

The Islander Inn could be a fabulous place, but it lacks consistency. My brother stayed in the Maui room for 2 nights and was completely satisfied. My wife and I stayed in the Bali room for 10 days and were quite disappointed. Housekeeping was done only sporaradically and not very thorough. The stovetop was out of order, so there was... More

This is a unique stay that reflects the wonderful ownership. Don't go expecting an attempt to compare to cookie-cutter accommodations. Need an alarm clock? Buy any smartphone. Engage them and they will share from a wealth of local knowledge, and especially if its around their campfire. They also own The Raven across the street which is literally the local's hotspot.... Very clean, comfortable room, stayed in Bali for three nights with my two kids. Loved the Raven lakeside dining, we ate there twice. Close to Glacier and other area attractions. I would stay here again. Good value. .

Coming from Colorado, I was awed by Flat Head Lake and then this wonderful Inn. Had two nights in the Jamaican Room which was lovely with blue and white walls, clean, comfortable bed, ceiling beams, wicker and island pictures. I enjoyed the wonderful view of the lake, pine trees and sunsets. Its only 5 miles from Bigfork for shopping and... More

My husband and I stayed at the Islander last weekend. We were in Anguilla B and the room was very charming.. The bright blue walls and white ceiling beams did feel decidedly Island-y. The bed was comfortable and there were enough pillows. The included kitchenette was well furnished and would have come in handy if we'd stayed more than one... More

Very comfortable beds in both Anguilla A and B. Also they have best view of lake and sunrise from these rooms. Room decor is clean and simple, not fussy. In May I dropped in, with only 2 nights stay reserved, to visit family, excellent room rates at this time. A little less touristy than Bigfork but close to events there... More

We spent Memorial Day weekend at the Islander Inn in the Jamaica Room. Booking was easy and we got the room we wanted with no fuss. When the reservation was first made, we were charged the wrong amount. I called back and the problem was fixed within five minutes! Two days before our trip, I received an email confirming our... Our family enjoyed a Flathead Lake get-away after my daughter's UM graduation. The owner called us to check on our arrival as we ran late dropping off relatives at Missoula airport. Our group of four had plenty room in Bali Hai room. The comfortable, bright accommodations and kitchen amenites were appreciated. The manager of the restaurant found extra bedding as we... More
