Each year when I return to Montana from my winter travels I check into Candlewycke Inn for a few weeks while my home is being opened for the season. There are many options for lodging in the area, but I return to Megan’s charming home time after time for several reasons, not the least of which is Megan herself. An... more

The Red Hat Mommas of Bigfork, Montana had brunch at the Candlewycke in beautiful Ferndale, Montana. Every detail was perfect plus Megan and Steve were the "Hosts with the Most".....The ladies had a marvelous time and look forward to a return. Only wished we lived farther away so we could spend the night. more

The innkeeper was very friendly, helpful and interested in our non-profit agency and its mission to help heal troubled children. The breakfast was wonderful and everything about the inn was first rate. I will return with family if I get the chance. Glenna Wortman-Obie Intermountain Children's Services more

My wife and I just got home from a Valentine's Day weekend with Steve and Megan - and it was a great weekend! We were treated like family - the food was wonderful, the rooms and beds very comfortable. This is a quiet and romantic setting in a beautiful log home with great hosts! We will be talking them up... more

Megan's Ward's Candlewycke Inn just outside Bigfork, Montana, never fails to please. This was our fifth visit, and as usual, our every need was taken care of--from travel advice, dining recommendations, phoning for reservations, to our special breakfast (the quiches are memorable!). Megan is on top of everything, and the uniquely decorated rooms are spotless and inviting--the hard part is... more

We had a lovely stay at the Candlewycke Inn... Megan and Steve are terrific people and the Inn was very clean and nicely decorated in Montana-country style. The breakfasts were a highlight of the day, as they were delicious with something different every day... Megan even went out of her way to make Eggs Benedict for our daughter (as this... more

We stayed at the Candlewycke Inn over Thanksgiving and experienced great food and a very relaxing and enjoyable time. We had an opportunity to see the Nutcracker at the local theater and enjoy the shops in Bigfork. We certainly plan to visit again to see more of the city and enjoy the B&B. more

My husband, our daughter and I stayed at the Candlewycke for three days in June 2007. We had the perfect set-up: a romantic room with a wonderful king-size bed for us and a room across the hall for our daughter with a bathroom in between. The breakfasts are excellent. Megan and Steve are the perfect hosts. They've designed the rooms... more

Our favorite B & B is the Candlewycke Inn at Bigfork, Montana. It is teriffic! It is located near the beautiful Swan River, in a wooded area just outside of town, and on most days you can watch as two or three deer cautiously come to the back porch, just a few feet from your breakfast table to have their... more

We have stayed at the Candlewycke Inn many times over the years (with our kids and without) during the various seasons and each time I leave feeling refreshed and relaxed. The owner, Megan, made us feel at home and couldn't do enough for us and her breakfasts exceed anywhere else we've stayed. The rooms are wonderfully decorated and the beds... more
