This was a real find after driving along the picturesque Hwy 35 on the east shore of the lake surrounded by cherry orchards. Friendly welcome. Sat by the pool on a hot evening & ordered a pizza to be delivered from the village, while watching the sun set over the tree tops. Rooms large & comfortable. Beds great. Only comment... More

Stayed with the family over the July 4th long weekend. Pleased with the room. It was clean, cool and presently quiet given the number of people staying there. The lady that checked us in was very nice and helpful. The rooms are basic rooms and the motel is older, but well maintained. The pool was very refreshing given the heat... More

This hotel was located right in beautiful Bigfork. A friend and I were visiting there for a wedding. The staff was friendly and accommodating - giving us assistance with directions and maps. They had a clean, heated pool and hot tub. It was located five minutes away from the roaring Swan River and the more upscale historic downtown. The room... More

OK the decor was perhaps a little tired, but the room was a good size and clean, the beds were comfortable, we had everything we needed and the receptionist (Zac?) was very welcoming and helpful. BigFork itself proved to be probably the nicest place on the lake and it was an easy car journey to Glacier Park. .

Most of the places to stay in Bigfork, MT, are incredibly expensive. The Timbers was the least expensive we found, so we went for it. What can I say? It is an average motel at an average price for a very expensive tourist town. The room was large and servicable but nothing fantastic. The beds are hard as a rock.... More

Thank you for your review. Bigfork is a beautiful place, and therefore it is a popular destination with some high prices during peak seasons. We strive to be more than average, by exceeding guest expectations in both service and value. Your comments show that we have some room for improvement in some areas. We will make those improvements and hope... More

They really need to address the fluctuating hot water issue. It's a bit scary to have shower water flashing between very hot and cold and back again. Otherwise, our stay wasn't too bad. My wife spent a long time in the pool as the outside temperature was in the high 90s. The air conditioning in the room worked well, and... More

We stayed here to attend the Big Fork Summer Playhouse on August 10th. The room was large. The beds and bedding could really use an upgrade. The continental breakfast area was pretty messy - newspapers all over the two tables - crumbs, too. Our room rate was $159 and I felt that was pretty steep for what you get. I... More

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback for us. You touched on two of the areas we will be addressing this winter-bedding and breakfast. These should be much improved for next summer. Unfortunately, as a small family-owned seasonal business, a "major facelift" is not in the budget. This winter we hope to improve our already large rooms and... More

We stayed 4 nights at the Timbers Motel. The rooms are large with dated furniture, old TV and VERY poor dim lighting. The bathroom floor had hair in the corners when we checked in...and after 4 days of 'maid service' it was still there when we checked out. It's probably STILL there. The Continental breakfast is a joke...stale bagels, mini-muffins,... More

Thank you for providing your comments, though I am sorry we did not come close to exceeding your expectations. I find it unacceptable that we failed in so many ways. Comments like yours have shown that we need to make some improvements. We are in the process of replacing any dated televisions, upgrading lighting in most rooms, updated color schemes,... More

We stayed at the Timbers Motel for one night. Room was spacious with air conditioning and had a small fridge. Your stay includes a continental breakfast, which may be one of the saddest ones I have seen BUT you are a 10 minute walk from the shops so you can just march yourself down to Brookie's Cookies for some coffee.We... Good jumping off point for visiting local attractions, easy walk over to shopping area in Big Fork. Rooms are as expected for motel of this type, pretty standard, no frills rooms. Small pool and hot tub.
