We really enjoyed the old-fashioned hospitality and the vintage authenticity at this hotel. Big Timber is a cute town that has a little movie theater and some shops. It's a convenient location with Billings, Bozeman, and Livingston about an hour away. The minute you walk into the hotel you feel like you've stepped back in time. Our room was small... More

Loved staying here! Clean, spacious, and well maintained! Bed very comfortable too! Town is charming! Restaurant is absolutely amazing! Do not come through here without stopping in for dinner even if you can't stay! Breakfast was also delicious! Absolutely will stay again when through this area!!! Owner is very nice and friendly!

What a delightful stay this was! We discovered this restored hotel off the beaten track in a small town. The room was well furnished in antiques. Even though the shared bathrooms and showers were across the hall, we never encountered other guests wanting to use the facilities at the same time we did. Breakfast the next morning was included in... More

Nice historic rooms and building. I felt comfortable with the clean room and facilities. Bed was a little creaky but this hotel is a true gem to stay in if you like history and something a little different then today's roadside hotels. This place is an experience and the breakfast is made with effort not just in a warming tray.... More

Once again, Trip Advisor came through for us. We never would have stopped here had we not found this place on TA. And a great find it was...this is the sort of unexpected experience that makes travel so extraordinary. This is a quiet little American town, but beautiful, peaceful and exudes the environment we all wished we could live in.... More

I chose this hotel, because I like to stay in unique places rather than chains when possible. My room reminded me of staying at my grandmother's house (which is kind of the point). I had originally booked a room with a full bathroom, but shortly before my trip I had to reschedule. The only room they had left was one... More

The Grand, in my estimation, is the last, best hotel. It is a splendidly operated, true to its character, original Western hotel. There are comfortable rooms that are well appointed, again in character, with none of that ridiculous air of 1890's boudoirs and all the foo-foo that some places favor. There is an attached bar, well-stocked and handsome with original... More

As advertised. We had Room 7 which was exactly as pictured on the hotel's website. Comfy room, much better than average restaurant for dinner and a nice breakfast in the morning. Add a super friendly and helpful staff and you've got a great place. Not fancy. Exactly as described. We would stay here again.

We were very pleased with our 2 night stay here. The room was very clean and well appointed, but the best part was the service provided by the staff and especially the owner. He went out of his way to respond to our needs. The breakfast which is included was delicious. We also ate dinner in the restaurant both nights... More

I stopped at the first motel I saw, as I arrived in town. No vacancy. She even told me the rest of the town was sold out. I took a chance and drove through town, only to find the Grand Hotel. Stopped in, pleased to learn they had a few rooms available. Yay! Great property. Amazing customer service. Charming vintage... More
