clean room. decent service. we stayed on the top floor, but furthest away from elevator so we had a relatively far walk from our room to the ski room. Still ski in/ski out. We rented a basket to put our shoes in for the day at $2 per day because we couldn't walk that far in our ski boots. Thought... more

After booking this hotel with a travel agent, I went to TripAdvisor to look at the lodge. Upon reading some of the comments, I became concerned and called the hotel. The manager could not have been more understanding of my concerns and assured me that we will indeed like the hotel. My husband and I (along with a college age... more

Six friends stayed here for 5 nights in two 3-bed loft rooms on the 3rd (top) floor facing the mountain. We enjoyed our stay and found the location to be very good for skiing. There is free ski storage downstairs from the lobby with an attendant who will wax skis for a fee, near an exit that is a two... more

If I could give ZERO star, I would. But I understand that tripadvisor does not start with zero. The only adj. I would give this hotel is "HORRIBLE". Spent 3 nights at the end of June for a conference. We arrived in the afternoon around 2:30, and were told our room was not ready and should be ready within 30... more

My wife and I stayed at the Huntley Lodge and had a difficult time getting a full night sleep due to the very thin walls. Be sure to stay on the second floor or you'll hear every footstep. On my final bill i was surprised to see three different taxes, a lodging sales and use tax, a room resort tax,... more

I just think it's overpriced. way overpriced. the room was ok though it seemed like it had seen better days--worn carpet and dinged furniture. I could smell smoke from other floors? or other rooms? It seemed dated. It'd be fine if the price was half what they actually ask. more

We stayed at Huntley lodge for a few days in July and had a fairly decent stay. The room inself was very nice. It was pretty spacious, and included a mini-frig, microwave, hair dryer, two separate sink areas and a small fan. I don't believe there was any air conditioning, but the nights are generally cool even in the summer,... more

We stayed at the Huntley Lodge in Big Sky in Feb. 06. First of all, check in was at "guaranteed" at 5pm. I have never heard of such a thing! And check out is 10am! They were overbooked and had to move people to other properties. I found that almost everyone I dealt with at the front desk was immediately... more

I had been looking forward to visiting Big Sky for a long time. We stayed at the somewhat aging Chet Huntley Lodge at Big Sky Resort. Parking is a hike from the hotel. Then the rooms are a long way from the reception. No help in getting the bags to the room. The rooms are not airconditioned which doesn't work... more

Rustic ambiance, the warmth permeates every square foot of the building, beautiful view of the mountain from all the ancillary areas. Wonderfull breakfast buffet. Very short hike to ski. I have been staying at this facility since the eighties, I love this place and I doubt I will move to any other building in the future. more
