It wasn't the best year for snow, but that didn't have a lot to do with the hotel. The lodging was fantastic. We booked almost a year in advance so we could get one of the elusive fireplace rooms with private hot tub. The room overlooked the slopes with the hot tub on the balcony where we were able to... This resort has a fantastic indoor/outdoor pool that is open all season. Very easy to access the main lifts from the resort. They have ski valet right there, so you do not need to deal with hassle of ski or snowboard gear. Great mountain to ski, lots of options for food. The rooms are nice. It is a great place... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here so I could attend a medical conference. I really loved this place. I stayed at the Huntley Lodge last time and this place is so much better. The staff was so over the top friendly. Breakfast was pretty good. The omelet station gets very busy and can be a bit of a pain. Sometimes... More

We have returned to the Summit, and it was better then we remembered. Now the ski check is right at the base of the lift. A real bonus with kids. It was great to ski, and then take a lunch break up in the room prior to returning to ski. The hot tub is really nice outside, with a view... More

We stayed at the Summit Hotel for the week after Christmas 2014 and through New Years Eve. We were located in room 401 with a slopeside view. This location on the corner of the building had outstanding views of the mountain, was quiet and convenient access. 2 short flights of stairs down to the hot tub avoided the need to... More

I have stayed at the Summit a few times in the past 20 years and just visited again this past week. The place is still solid. Montana has its own vibe - laid back, honest and friendly. The hotel was a pleasure to revisit. Not ostentatious but very , very good. The bars and restaurants were what you want and... More

This is our third time here and as lovely as always. Everybody was very nice, good housekeeping, great food. The view breath taking and of course pool inside and outside the best of all. Wanted to mention Iwona waiter , Ricardo and Ali managers of the restaurant. They always made sure you have everything you need without invading your family... More

We stayed at The Summit the week after Christmas. We were very pleased with the accommodations. One of our bags was delayed by the airline, the Summit staff sent a toiletries kit to our room (and asked if there was anything additional that we needed to make ourselves comfortable). We used the valet for our rental car - whenever we... More

Great location and view with very good service. The people are extremely friendly and helpful especially Davis in housekeeping. He has a unique perspective of guests' needs and I hope our discussion of some of the frustrations incurred will be appreciated. We booked a studio for our family of 3 and it was surprisingly small with not a great floor... More

My son and I have skied Big Sky the last few years and most recently stayed in The Summit. We were very pleased with the accomodations...and Big Sky tried to get our group located on the same floor or as close to each other as possible. The layout of the ski hill is very conducive to big groups as two... More
