I would highly recommend staying this cabin for Yellowstone visitors during summer season. This place is a bit far from west gate of Yellowstone; it takes 45mins drive, but you will enjoy staying clean, quiet and fairly new cabin. 6 of us slept in one cabin which has two bedrooms and one living room. We actually saved big money instead... More

Wow. Instead of booking a crappy, overpriced Best Western in West Yellowstone, I decided to take a gamble and book a cabin in Big Sky for a few dollars more. Despite the hour drive from West Yellowstone, my family of 4 heartily approved of this decision. Gorgeous views, wonderful accommodations - we had the resort to ourselves since it's off-season.... The only reason I only gave it 3 stars is because it's not luxurious. That being said, it's perfect for skiing with all you could need, as well as being ski in/ski out (Gambler run). Great to have a private hot tub. Use Lodge at Moonlight for drinks and dinner - it's lovely and close. Very clean and beds very... More

I'd like to amend what another reviewer said - this is Ski in-Ski Out. I had never skied before this trip, and even I managed to make the 2 minute trip down to the Iron Horse chair lift that is shared by Big Sky & Moonlight. The trail is right out your front door, albeit possibly behind a mound of... More

The cabin we stayed in was clean and fairly new. It was terribly hard to find in the dark. I could have done without the dear head mounted in the living room. We had never skied Big Sky or Moonlight Basin before. We always rent ski-in/ski-out rentals. This property was not that. We and the people in the cabin next... More

What a wonderful honeymoon! We stayed in cabin 5. We couldn't exactly ski right off the front porch, but the slopes were only a couple of cabins away. The views of the Spanish peaks were fantastic. The cabin was well furnished, and came with everything we needed for our stay including coffee, a washer/dryer, and down comforters. We have rented... More

The cabins are a great place to stay for a small group. We had two couples and an infant and there was plenty of space in the comfortable cabins. The best thing is that some of the cabins are 20 feet from the slopes and have a beautiful view of Lone Peak and the surrounding Gallatin valley. The lodge is... More

Fantastic views and the most incredible ski in / ski out cabin that I have seen in any ski area. They are small, but exstreamly charming. You can't go wrong. More

I was in a group of three families staying at the Snowcrest and the Moonlight cabins. This place had all the attributes that I love of Beavercreek/Vail and Deer Valley. Much better feel and view. Instead of old condos from the 60's thrown here and there it's all beautiful lodges everywhere. High end Log cabin heaven and that's just fine... More
