The lodge was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was mud season so the lodge was very quiet. The breakfast was OK however we prefer a hot cooked breakfast. I don't know that there is a difference in views from the rooms as mountains are all around the lodge and we picked a non-mountain view and... More

Dear iweejun, Thank you for staying at the Lodge at Big Sky. The quietest time to stay at the Lodge is during May when the resort is closed and the Yellowstone tourist season is just picking up. I'm sure you got some well needed rest. Next time be sure to book our extremely popular Mountain View rooms. It' well worth... More

Went skiing for the first time in Big Sky and it was amazing! Although it was crowded, there were no long unbearable lines at the ski lifts. Shivan was very friendly, resourceful and knew Big Sky very well as if he was born and bred there! The room was clean. Kudos to the housekeepers! (Y) Jieter and the other front... More

The room was clean, if you are staying the hotel for first time, go for the mountain view room. You can see the lone peak from your window <3 Great location , very near to ski area about 5 minutes walk, and they do provide shuttle bus . They have 3 outdoor hot tubs which are amazing especially when it... More

Third year staying at The Lodge at Big Sky for closing weekend/pond skim. Quite possibly their busiest, craziest weekend of the year, and the employees still smile and aim to please! good quality, clean rooms with all the basics. We were greeted upon arriving and told where the ski locker was. There is also a shuttle that takes you and... More

Stayed for two weeks, perfect location on the mountain for proximity to everything. Had a small problem with our room and was moved to one that ticked all boxes. Staff were young, friendly, vibrant team. You could access everything from here, restaurants, shopping. Enjoyed a wonderful day trip to Yellowstone Park from here, staff helped with all the arrangements. Loved... More

We stayed at The Lodge for a long weekend of ski racing. The staff were amazing, they were always willing to help out and give assistance if we needed. Breakfast was always ready early and they always had enough for everyone. It is located within walking of the ski area, but they have a van that can take you up... More

My family and I stay at Big Sky often and after staying in many of Big Sky's hotels, this is by far our favorite and is now the only place we stay. The rooms are big and clean with some facing Lone Peak with breathtaking views. 3 hot tubs outside, and a pool and hot tub inside keep the kids... More

We stayed here for my first ever ski trip. The location is perfect- on the mountain within walking distance to skiing and night life, yet far enough away that it is not noisy. The staff is super accommodating! The only thing keeping me from giving it an "excellent" rating is the bed. They were slightly soft for my liking. I... More

Dear Lynn S, Wow! What a fantastic place to have your first ski trip! I consider myself lucky to have found a job at such a gorgeous property. Sorry that the beds weren't to your liking. Since beds can be such a subjective matter, I have made the recommendation to ownership to replace the beds with sleep number beds when... More

Location to the base of the mountain is very good, only 2 blocks walk, and there is a shuttle run by The Lodge. The hotel is clean and all staff are very friendly. Staff always greets you, answers questions, works out solutions to any problems. Very nice great room, bar, breakfast area. Clean rooms!
