We went to lone mountain ranch for 4 nights and stayed in shooting star and sunburst with our three children (5,8,10). We had a great time and are glad we went but some aspects like the food and rooms have room for improvement. The property and horse trails are gorgeous and we had a wonderful time. The rooms are simple,... More

We had a great time on our vacation at Lone Mountain Guest Ranch. Randy is an expert Yellowstone guide, Rick & Jake are expert fly fishing guides and the horseback riding was fun. The walking trail ride was the perfect experience for my 13 year old, who had never ridden. As an experienced rider, I'd like to take the all... More

So happy to read these fine compliments about our team - In my opinion they are the best! I'm also glad your experience was satisfying in light of the few areas that could be better. We have future plans to make thoughtful improvements in the cabins and hopefully you'll be able to enjoy these on your next visit... Our Chef... More

We've been here twice. Once in the summer and once in the winter. I honestly can't tell you which I prefer, but they were both amazing! The food in the lodge was spectacular and all the staff bent over backwards to take care of us. Top notch!

Thank you so much for this wonderful review! I'm like you in that I can't decide which season is best because the ranch has so much to offer year-round. If you haven't visited in the fall please give it some thought - many feel September and October is the best time of year. Hope to see you soon! More

We stayed in Chipmunk cabin, which is one of the smaller cabins. The staff were very good about having a refrigerator there upon my request, but the cabin was very small but cozy and clean. The skiing happened to be marginal as there had not been new snow for awhile, but the trails were well groomed. Unfortunately, my husband developed... More

My sincere apologies for not having responded sooner. I'm disappointed we made these mistakes as we take great pride providing far better service. Please give me a call as I would like to set up your next reservation personally. More

We were last at Lone Mountain 18 years ago and we were worried that the Ranch couldn't match the wonderful experience we had back then. It did that and more. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cross country trails still existed and were well groomed even with the growth of Big Sky and encroachment by private homes. The Ranch... More

Always humbling to read such nice things about Lone Mountain... it's the people who make the ranch special and I look forward to welcoming you back to the ranch. Hopefully next winter will be a big snow year! Thank you for sharing your thoughts. More

We had a family outing to cross country ski at Lone Mountain Guest Ranch to ring in the new year. We had an absolutely stunning day and the trails could not have been in better condition. The check in service and ticketing was easy and friendly. We have always looked forward to eating lunch at the Ranch between ski excursions.... More

We always try our best and clearly missed the mark big time and for that I apologize. Please let me know if you will return to the ranch soon as I will make certain we get it right this time and there will be no charge for your meal. More

I could not find one thing wrong with my stay. It far exceeded my expectations! I will definitely be back. Actually I can hardly wait... We had the fly fishing package and our guide was John. He was fantastic and he got us on the Browns and the Rainbows. Thanks John!

This was one of the best family vacations we have ever been on. Lone Mountain Ranch is pure fun and fantastic for family bonding. My kids age 14,12,9 loved it and are begging to go back. We have traveled all over the world with our kids and this was their favorite family vacation. The other guests at the ranch were... More

First, I sincerely recommend this place, despite the below. Let me be clear: Lone Mountain Guest Ranch is a winter vacation I would recommend. However ... there is room for improvement. Let me begin with the restaurant. This was an all inclusive vacation for us, so we expected to eat all meals at the ranch. Breakfast and lunch were acceptable.... More

Thank you for the overall high marks and even more for the honest feedback... details are what make the difference and we clearly missed a few. We have many new menu selections designed to push the limits on classic "guest ranch" cuisine, while at the same time we are committed to always having traditional options as well. Check Nick and... My adult son and I spent a week at Lone Mountain Guest Ranch over Christmas week and I can't say enough nice things about the staff, the cabins, the food and the activities. We had side by side cabins fairly close to the dining complex and the sports complex. The cabins were nicely furnished and had wood stoves in addition... More

It always makes me feel great to read so many compliments about my co-workers, I couldn't agree with you more about what an amazing and talented hard-working crew we have at LMR. Best of all I'm glad you enjoyed your time here and it's fantastic news you are planning a return visit! More
