We stayed in Chipmunk cabin, which is one of the smaller cabins. The staff were very good about having a refrigerator there upon my request, but the cabin was very small but cozy and clean. The skiing happened to be marginal as there had not been new snow for awhile, but the trails were well groomed. Unfortunately, my husband developed... More

We were last at Lone Mountain 18 years ago and we were worried that the Ranch couldn't match the wonderful experience we had back then. It did that and more. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cross country trails still existed and were well groomed even with the growth of Big Sky and encroachment by private homes. The Ranch... More

We had a family outing to cross country ski at Lone Mountain Guest Ranch to ring in the new year. We had an absolutely stunning day and the trails could not have been in better condition. The check in service and ticketing was easy and friendly. We have always looked forward to eating lunch at the Ranch between ski excursions.... More

We always try our best and clearly missed the mark big time and for that I apologize. Please let me know if you will return to the ranch soon as I will make certain we get it right this time and there will be no charge for your meal. More

I could not find one thing wrong with my stay. It far exceeded my expectations! I will definitely be back. Actually I can hardly wait... We had the fly fishing package and our guide was John. He was fantastic and he got us on the Browns and the Rainbows. Thanks John!

This was one of the best family vacations we have ever been on. Lone Mountain Ranch is pure fun and fantastic for family bonding. My kids age 14,12,9 loved it and are begging to go back. We have traveled all over the world with our kids and this was their favorite family vacation. The other guests at the ranch were... More

First, I sincerely recommend this place, despite the below. Let me be clear: Lone Mountain Guest Ranch is a winter vacation I would recommend. However ... there is room for improvement. Let me begin with the restaurant. This was an all inclusive vacation for us, so we expected to eat all meals at the ranch. Breakfast and lunch were acceptable.... More

Thank you for the overall high marks and even more for the honest feedback... details are what make the difference and we clearly missed a few. We have many new menu selections designed to push the limits on classic "guest ranch" cuisine, while at the same time we are committed to always having traditional options as well. Check Nick and... My adult son and I spent a week at Lone Mountain Guest Ranch over Christmas week and I can't say enough nice things about the staff, the cabins, the food and the activities. We had side by side cabins fairly close to the dining complex and the sports complex. The cabins were nicely furnished and had wood stoves in addition... More

Came to Lone Mountain because my entire family was going for Christmas. What I found was the most beautiful majestic surroundings with a staff of people who truly love what they do and made me feel very welcome. The cabins are well maintained and beautiful and not just clean but looked like they were built yesterday even though they were... More

Lone Mountain Ranch http://www.lonemountainranch.com/ is exactly what we pictured – gravel roads, horses, and wood-logged cabins. The cabins are rustic but have every day luxuries like brand new bathrooms fixtures and Gilchrist & Soames toiletries. We stayed in the Blackbear and Cougar Cabin http://www.lonemountainranch.com/winter-lodging-rates/premium-cabin-accommodations/blackbear-and-cougar-cabins/, a two-bedroom cabin with door connection at the bathrooms. The bedrooms were different. Cougar had a... More

Our Dude Rancher's Association Board stayed at Lone Mountain Ranch in late September and I have to say that the accomodations, food and especially the staff were a perfect fit for our small group. Cabins were well appointed and immaculate and our meeting room was the perfect size for us with all of the up to date audio visual that... More
