This was perfect for our needs, the perfect place to crash in the evening after a day of hiking. We visited the store a few times for some things that we needed (snacks, ace bandage, etc). The staff was very nice, and the room was very clean. The location of the hotel was perfect as it provided good access to... More

It is the only game in town. The check-in is at the general store next door that has the atmosphere of a 1950s country store. The room is simple and clean. The crt tv has only one station and there is no internet. The bathroom is small but functional.

This is one of the strangest place I've stayed in. The registration desk was at the cashier at the attached convenience store. This hotel looked tired outside and it was very outdated inside. It was, however, clean and OK for staying a night before moving on to the next destination. The was a refrigerator in the room and the TV... More

Pleasantly surprised and very pleased with this motel. Very close to Many Glacier. Our room was clean and appeared to be recently renovated. The owners are very friendly. Can't wait to come back someday.

The hotel is just 8 miles from GNP entrance. The staff is very friendly. The hotel is two levels. We had one queen bed. TV get one station HBO but the rent DVDs no charge u can watch in room after after a day in the backcountry. Great food options are close by. Their general store has everything u may... More

We stayed at Thronson's on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. I was surprised to see a vacancy sign up. You have to call them to make a reservation and you don't get a confirmation. We enjoyed our stay in this older motel. Everything was clean and comfortable. Yes there is only one channel but the lady at the general... More

After riding the motorcycle for 4 1/2 hours in a thunderstorm we were VERY happy to arrive at this cute little motel. We arrived after the 9:00 check in deadline but since we had called ahead to let them know, it was not a problem. The room had a queen bed in the main area then a separate queen bed... More

No doubt this is probably the closest place you'll find to the Many Glacier area of GNP outside of the park. It's really no-frills with no wifi in rooms and one channel on the TV (but I think it's HBO!). Personally, I think at this point in our civilization, wifi should be a given. There is a fridge though. The... More

What can I say? It's dry. There's a bed. The TV got one channel, barely. The shower is 24"x24", but with remarkably good water pressure. For $110 plus per night, they'd never get away with it except for the utter lack of competition. I almost felt like I was infringing on the locals when I was there (which I suppose... More

This reminded me of the motels we stayed in when I was a child (and I mean that in a good way.) You must check in through the general store next door which is an old general store complete with screen door and metal sign and canned goods on the shelves behind the cashier. There is only one channel on... More
