I recently (July, 2014) went on a road trip with my daughter. We stayed at the bunkhouse for three nights while we were visiting Glacier National Park and the surrounding area. The ranch is close to the entrance to the park and you can take a short drive to Canada and visit the Canadian side of the park as well.... More

Our family stayed in the Meadowlark Meadows house while visiting Glacier Nat'l Park. The house is extremely clean, quite spacious & has pretty much anything you might need - even bear spray for hikes (& a lesson in how to use it). The beds were very comfortable as were the couches in the living room. There is plenty of land... More

I loved my stay the first week of August at Paul Ranch, located four miles north of Babb. The one-room bunk house served as my base for six days of serious hiking in Glacier NP. The location was perfect, providing quick access to both the Many Glacier and Rising Sun trail heads, while at the same time being removed from... More

We just returned from a 2-week road trip across the US. We stayed 2 nights at Elk Willows, and everyone in our party agreed it was one of the highlights of the trip. The pictures just do not even do the place justice. The sunrise and sunset views were spectacular. The silence there was wonderful. Our 10-year-old daughter had the... More

Loved our stay here - I ditto the many great reviews - my friend and I stayed in the bunkhouse for 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Great view from the porch to the eastern plains - had friendly dogs and cats visiting as well as the local alpacas/llamas. The hosts Janice and Colin made you feel like family... More

A gem of an accommodation on the east side of Glacier! We stayed in the Chaps and Spurs bunkhouse for three nights––very simple, but very enjoyable. The bunkhouse has electricity but no running water thus necessitating trips to a very clean nearby port-a-potty, but we didn't mind at all. Our nights were spent sitting on the porch, watching the local... More

Extremely comfortable accommodations, with an excellent kitchen and a stunning view of the mountains and plains. We stayed in the largest home -- spacious and not at all spartan. Quite accessible to the Many Glaciers entrance to the park, and much better value than the lodges and motels in the park. Tons of wildlife on the roadsides and in the... More

If you enjoy a little seclusion, you should check out the Paul Ranch. We stayed in the Wagon Wheel Trailer for 5 nights in early July. The place had excellent views of Glacier's mountains, comfortable beds, a covered deck for enjoying meals outside, and entertaining alpacas! We had been to Glacier previously and bounced around different lodges (4 places). This... More

We just spent 5 nights with another couple in the Elk Willows house. It is fantastic. What a beautiful site sitting on top of the hill overlooking the plains with mountains in the distance. The house itself is a gem - 3 bedrooms, completely stocked kitchen, den and separate LR area, 2 baths. The first morning there an elk was... More

My wife and I spent a night in the Chaps and Spurs Bunkhouse in mid-September. Janice and Colin were gracious hosts and we chatted amongst the animals. It was so nice to see and hear the cows and coyotes. The night was clear and the Milky Way and tons of stars were out. A great base camp for trips into... More
