Very friendly staff. And that's the last positive thing I have to say about this hotel. It was a very frightening experience staying here for the night. We found a family of cockroaches in the bathroom. Neither my wife nor I dared bathe in the very dirty bathtub-shower combination. We also did not dare to dress down to sleep that... More

I don't usually give super bad ratings because we are not that hard to please. The room as far as a room goes was ok. There was no hot water pressure in the sink. But i can deal with that. What i can't deal with is the COCKROACHES. We came into the room and there was a tiny one in... More

We were surprised with the room we got, although the hotel was outdated, it was clean, plenty of towels, good water pressure, iron, ironing board and hair dryer. The commode had issues and we had to lift the lid to get it to flush but it worked. The bed was actually comfortable and we could have used another pillow but... More

HORRIBLE PLACE!!!! Wouldn't ever rate it with 1 star. Not clean at all. Hair in the beds. Gross drug addict looking people live there. They watched our every move. Pizza Hut won't deliver because of to many dangerous situations. Wouldn't recommend anyone staying there!! NOT KIDDING! Even the guy working the desk said he didn't blame us for leaving because... I will say the rooms were a great price, but I guess the saying, " you get what you pay for" really does apply. We decided to stay here because of the location, we were visiting family in the area. When we first checked in, we went to both of our rooms just to turn the air on so it... More

This was chosen purely due to it been between Memphis and Joplin! It was quite and clean, except for the ubiquitous train horn, soon the be known to us as the sound of America. The town is quite small, but there is enough to look at to fill an evening.

Actually for the rate of $40.00 bucks a night this is probably a good value. True the facilities has seen better days. Still basic ammenities should work. We neede three rooms and they was the only game around. The Holiday Inn Express had two rooms at $140.00 ea. So I didn't expect the ammenities at $40.00 vs $140.00. Never the... More

Our friends got us rooms - she got them a king suite and a king room right next door to them for us. Their room reeked of cigarette smoke (they were supposed to be non-smoking). There were still dirty washcloths in the bathroom from the last guests - indicating that they didn't clean their bathroom. As for our room -... More
