Make your reservation now because the Brick Inn is the best place to stay in Washington, MO and close to the St Louis area. My mom and I were on a family/genealogy trip and wanted to stay in a small town.Washington was perfect. We traveled down Route 66 from St Louis and Art and Kathy meet us at the end... More

The excellence started when we got off of the train in Washington and were, unexpectedly, met by Art who took us and our bikes to Brick Inn. The 19th century Inn is gorgeous and the breakfast is wonderful. The pecan trees in the back yard are unbelievable. They are huge and, given their size, have seen events in this country... More

I cannot add to the wonderful reviews about Brick Inn. We stayed there 3-4 years ago and always planned to come back. Kathy and Art are great. BUT, we will never stay there again. It is a safety issue. I was sitting down in a chair in our room to use my computer. As I looked to my right, I... More

The two extension cords mentioned are mounted at the head of the bed for sleep apnea machines that an occasional guest would bring. There are three other regular receptacles in the room for cell phone chargers, computers, and the like. One regular receptacle is mounted 18 inches off the floor right at the computer desk. This is acceptable to our... More

We were in the area for a wedding and chose the Brick Inn because of other traveller reviews and were not disappointed. The house is beautiful and well-kept, the rooms were clean, nicely furnished with antiques, and the beds were VERY comfy. Our hosts, Art and Kathy, were delightful, accommodating to dietary needs, and respected our privacy. Art gave me... More

One only has to spend a few moments with Art and Kathy to see that this place has been a labor of love for them. What a charming house in a charming town. We were picked up on the Katy Trail after our bike broke down and was given an elaborate tour of the city and its sites. You can... More

We just spent a wonderfuld weekend at the Brick Inn at Washington, MO. We rented the entire house for an adult family get away. All the rooms were nicely furnished and very comfortable. Art and Kathy prepared and served a delicious breakfast each morning. Days were spent enjoying the nearby wineries and the evenings were spent visiting around the fire... More

The accommodations and warm friendliness made our experience a memorable one. The service was wonderful and much appreciated. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the HDTV’s made the DVD’s provided come alive. The well kept brick home and the grounds with flowers are lovely. It is only a 7 min walk to downtown Washington which has lots of charming... More

Our family reunion in a neighboring town brought us to Washington, MO. Because we see each other less than once a year, our immediate family group of 6 was looking to stay together. Our father is 83 and we wanted him to be very comfortable; we are all at least 6' and need king size beds. A "tall" order at... More
