This was a great experience. From the awesome Jackie at check in to the wonderful Nicole running the restaurant/bar everything was so good. Will come back for every BBQ competition. If you're in Washington from out of town, you should stay here.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We would love to have you come back and stay with us! We feel the staff at the hotel as well as the tavern wants to please those that come to visit us and really goes out of their way to do just that. Once again many thanks, Jackie Schell Manager Old... The room was large and comfortable though it certainly had almost no charm. The bathroom was sparkling clean and updated and the shower was great. My biggest problem is with the breakfast. This hotel does not offer a typical b&b breakfast. It's basically prepackaged desserts and bagels. No hot, home-cooked meal. I was so disappointed as that's why I chose... More

My family stayed there for a wedding weekend - we took over the whole hotel. The staff was helpful in every way possible, and really went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. I recommend this hotel to everyone!

We had a family gathering this past weekend at the Old Dutch Hotel, and had a wonderful time! The rooms were wonderful and the staff was very helpful. The tavern was a relaxing place and we will definitely be going back!

We've been traveling around the country in our RV and this was the first time in over a year we chose to stay at a hotel for the weekend. I'm glad it was the Old Dutch Hotel & Tavern. The room was small but super clean, large bathroom, highspeed wifi and comfy bed. We were directly above the tavern however... More

A couple of years ago, this property underwent a MAJOR rehab. It went from dilapidated hodgepodge of a pseudo coffee shop and nick knacks, to its current Cinderellac transformation. The Old Dutch recommissioned 14 unused rooms and now has 14 new bedrooms with 24 hr staff for over night love birds or those arriving for a stay on Amtrak. But... More

The restaurant has a great selection of fresh food and a good selection of craft beers. The hotel and restaurant combine to make a good destination with charm and style. Walk town, have some wine and step accross the street for suchi.

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights Sept 29 till Oct 4 ,2013. Booking the room was very fast and simple and the lady who took our reservation was very friendly. Upon arrival we walked in and just couldn't get over how cute the place was. We were given our keys to our room on the third floor and... More

The Old Dutch Hotel was a nice change of pace from hotel/motel chains. Our room was a single queen size room with a bathroom. The room wasn't large but we were just spending the night so it was quite adequate. The room was extremely clean as was the bathroom. Our shower rod fell down twice during the night - it... More

My daughter and I stayed for 2 nights on Sept 6 & 7, 2013. Booking by telephone was easy and the clerk (Taylor) was very helpful. The hotel is conveniently located in downtown Washington, Mo with restaurants, pubs and quaint shops all close and the Amtrak station is only a couple of blocks away. This retro hotel has been very... More
