Our family- 3 couples over 50 came here to stay and kayak the river. We rented the log cabin lodge that is supposed to sleep 6 comfortably. The bed is old and broken down, the sofa sleeper is broken, and the hide a bed has terrible mattresses. When we checked in there were no extra sheets or pillow covers and... More

I've canoed many rivers in Missouri and the North Fork is my favorite, and my favorite place to canoe from is Dawt Mill! We just canoed this past weekend, but it was my fifth time canoeing North Fork, and my fourth time canoeing with Dawt Mill. Their prices are comparable and their staff is always friendly. What I love most... More

We don't normally camp on a holiday weekend due to rowdy/party crowds. We had family visiting from out of town that wanted to float and the other decent looking campgrounds in their area (based on website research) were booked up. When we arrived, they tried to put us in a tent spot for our 27' travel trailer. Their campground has... More

We LOVE this place. We always stay in the Cotton Gin Inn, a group of 6 of us. This year was our third annual. The rooms are clean, well kept and the AC is nice and cold. The mattresses could stand to be replaced but not too horrible yet. The grist mill restaurant has excellent food but the alcohol is... More

Five girls stayed in the Lodge for two nights in the middle of the week in July. The Lodge is supposed to be for six persons. There are only four chairs in the kitchen. Not enough coffee cups in the pantry. The coffee pot was the same size that you would find in a hotel room. They did get one... More

We went to see Ha Ha Tonka play live here. The hotel was beautiful, with great views of the river and other scenic views. The venue was nice and clean. The service at the bar was lacking but the overall environment was nice.

Stayed in mid july and camped. There were six of us and two vehicles with us. They gave us an RV spot and told us it was bigger. We had a large tent and a second smaller one. It was pretty cramped. The bathhouse and single stall bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. They need a bigger facility with bathrooms and showers.... More

We visited this area and floated the North Fork of the White River on a Tuesday, renting a canoe from Dawt Mill and then stayed overnight. Great river, clean, with a current, but nothing dangerous. Floated Blair Bridge to Dawt Mill (3.5-4.5 hrs including a stop for lunch on a gravel bar) and then stayed at the Cotton Gin Inn... More
