We (my sister, mother, cousin and I) had been driving from New Mexico and decided to stop in Springfield, MO at 1:30am to get some sleep before continuing on our journey back to Kentucky. After going to 3 other hotels in the area this was the only one that had a room with double queen beds available. The only good... More

Went to Springfield for a wedding and had tobook a room. I remembered the great hotel I stayed at 10 years ago so I booked the lamplighter north for this stay also. What a mistake. First my wife and I had to hunt for our room and didnt know if it was the right one as the room number was... More

Now THIS is a hotel for a pleasant stay. Newly remodeled with amazingly clean lobby and rooms, and hallways. The pool is one to amaze, with screened glass door walls and retractable sun roof, so I can't say it's outdoor; or indoor. Either way, it was a great stay and may just take another vacation to stay here and do... More

First of all, yes I live in Springfield, stop giving me the 3rd degree about why I want to rent a room. I drink, you have a bar and I enjoy your live music on the weekends. I have children, you have a pool. Every time I rent from this hotel I get treated like a drug dealer looking for... More

We stayed here in early august and it was close to Route 66 that we were traveling. I have never been so disappointed in a hotel. The carpet in our rooms was sticky, the room was shabby and still had debris on floor from previous people, and our bathroom was disgusting-hair all over the place. Toilet seat had marks all... More

I will start with the positives. . . The staff was nice and helpful, the room was dark, the bed was comfortable, the free breakfast was great, the wifi worked well, and the hotel was quiet. OK, now the not so positives. The general upkeep of the internal corridor leading to my room was terrible (it was stinky, carpeting was... More

enjoyed our two day stay. The bathroom was super super clean but just a little small. Very large room otherwise. Must have been painted recently because my husband, who is a clean freak, spent five minutes scraping the small paint splatters off the entryway floor. The flatscreen tv was a little small but not too small. Marble counters were nice.... More

I stayed one night. I did not wake up in time for breakfast. And I never made it to the pool and hot tub. The location was good for me. It was right off the highway. Several other hotels (and chain restaurants) are also situated in the area. I had made a reservation ahead of time, which made check-in a... More

I stayed here for 5 days and was not at all impressed. The room was in need of repair, the shower had a strange way of getting the temperature just right. You had to turn the cold water on first all the way and then it only came out a little bit then turn the hot on to reach your... More
