We had our confirmed reservation via the hotel website. The only info posted in the 'rules and regs' for the government rate was that ID is required upon check-in. Just returned from a business trip that included a 1 night stay at this property. Hotel rooms were tight on "hotel row" including the Hampton Inn next store which is my usual choice. My expectations were exceeded by this hotel... It is an extended stay, but they offer competitive rates to the Hampton Inn (right next door). We stayed at the Candlewood Suites (N. Glenstone) this past week, Oct. 10-14. It was very pleasant and clean. The staff were wonderful. The suite had a full kitchen. We had free washer and dryer service. Some good restaurants such as Buckingham's (BBQ), Applebee's, Steak and Shake were close by. Western Sizzler is at the corner at Kearney and Glenstone.... more
