Stayed here one night on our way to St. Louis - didn't really spend much time at the hotel but it wasn't one of my favorite hotels I'd ever been at. I had won a $40 (plus tax) bid on Priceline for this hotel, which is a decent enough deal, not great (rates on website are $59 plus tax). Lady... more

Just returned from a one night stay. Booked on Hotels.com. Got a great rate. This would not be the rate if booking directly. That's why a gave it an average on value. Rooms have been updated int he last three years since I was ther last. Nice decor and bed linens. Everything was clean but the underside of the toilet.... more

Floor flexes when you walk. Hall carpet needs replacement and walks look to be painted with cheap paint.Breakfast average, but seating area way too small for number of hotel residents. Long elevator wait. First room had a lockout door that didnt latch and a barking dog next door. Thin walls. Staff moved me to another room that had non working... more

Me, my sister and her 2 year old son stayed here on a long trip. We chose this hotel because it was right off the highway and it was getting late. Check in was fairly quick. The main lobby, which is where breakfast is served, was quite small. This hotel is long past the renovation stage. The wallpaper was peeling... more

We were in Springfield for a volleyball tournament. One of our parent received an obscene phone call. The front desk did not know how to handle the situation. The front desk stated the call came from inside the hotel. The security officer/shuttle driver/breakfast server was the same person who was working the front desk that evening. He stated he would... more

Stayed for 4 days from March 20-24, 2008. Got an online deal from hotel website for $48 a night. Confirmed a late arrival (8pm). Got there at 9:30pm and a room was not clean or ready, even tho check in time is 3pm. After the desk clerk spent 15 minutes of trying to locate someone to even start cleaning the... more

The location is convenient, although that comes with some highway noise. In fact, I found this hotel to be very noisy – we had noise from the pool, the room above us, and the loud maids at 7 am on Sunday. The décor is dated and the bedding well past its prime. A renovation would do this hotel some good.... more

Booked for 1 night through Priceline b/c we were in town for a golf tournament... very accessible location... check-in was friendly and quick... beds were comfy and we cranked the air all the way down and slept very well... I would agree w/ the previous review that, overall, this property was nothing special but perfectly adequate. There are lots of... more

This LaQuinta is located in "hotel row", right off of the Glenstone Ave exit on I-44. There are at least a dozen other motels in the area, plus a Denny's, Steak and Shake, Bob Evans, and a Waffle House all within a few blocks. It's about a 5-10 minute drive to the heart of town, the restaurants and bars, and... more
