We are often patrons of Drury Inns, but have never stayed at a Pear Tree before. We were totally satisfied with this Pear Tree, which is a converted Drury (since a new Drury was built right across the parking lot in summer '09). There were only a few differences between this Pear Tree and a regular Drury. The ones we... more

On a recent trip to Chicago, we stayed at this Pear Tree Inn. We had never heard of this chain but chose it because of the reviews on Trip Advisor. It was well worth it. If you're familiar with Drury Inns, you should know that it belongs to this company; and, indeed, was a Drury Inn until a few months... more

Clean everywhere, smelled fresh, truly a non-smoking room. Unlike even some of the better mid-priced chains, there was no odor of cleaning chemicals or a smell of hair grease or fried food; even on the chair upholstery was fresh-smelling. Room was spotless - no grubby fingerprints. Rugs were clean enough to go barefoot on. Coverlet and decor gave a light... more

Following TA's advice we booked the Pear Tree Inn for an evening on our trip to Branson. It was worth more than we paid. The front desk was polite and helpful, all areas including the room were clean and neat. The room was very pleasant, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. more

Since the new Drury Inn & Suites has just opened next door, the old Drury Inn is now called Pear Tree Inn and the old Pear Tree Inn is now called Thrifty Inn. The oldest hotel is now the Thrifty Inn, the second oldest is now called Pear Tree Inn. Might be confusing on the reviews since previous reviews of... more

I really liked this hotel. The elevator was kinda slow but it was only 4 floors so we took the stairs. THe breakfast was pretty good. Hot food. My sisters were staying next door in the Peartree and they ate breakfast with us because our breakfast was better. Considering the hotels in Sikeston I think this is one of the... more

Place is very close to Lambert's Restaurant which is the whole reason we visited this town. We also stopped by the Double Nickel - a nearby bar - and heard a very good country singer there and played pool. It came with a very nice free breakfast, which was enjoyed. We also got 3 free happy hour drinks each, but... more

After reading Trip Advisor reviews we decided to stay here on our way back to Indiana. While the staff was very pleasant and the breakfast was very good, we thought that this hotel was just average for the price. You get drinks and snacks in the evening but we prefer good beds and pillows. The feathers kept sticking me from... more

Comfortable and very clean accommodations. This is a new property. They allowed us to secure a room a bit early which was appreciated as I wanted to stay in the room and rest while my husband went to a museum. Very helpful desk people. Good breakfast and good internet hookup, which is important to us. Rather small vanity area and... more
