BUT CLOSED. Very sad. Stayed there several time over the years. Miss it. It was a gem in that it was between two other fancy hotels with the same owner... you had access to the amentities there... great free breakfast, nice pool, hot tub. This one was the first. I suppose something fancier and more expensive will show up.

Stayed here for a week. Price was right. It's a shared hotel with the pear tree inn. I would say the deal is good. The rooms are "B" clean and sizable, outside enterence to room and ample parking. It shares breakfast with the Pear tree but THERE IS NO KETCHUP... Even though the eggs are real. Pool and jacuzzi. Computer... More

This is one of three properties (The Drury Hotel, The Pear Tree Inn, and the Thrifty Inn) that the Drury Hotel company owns. All three are on the same property/parking lot. The Thrifty Inn is the lowest priced property, as it is the oldest building. However, since the staff is essentially the same for all three places, the room is... More

We stayed here and we found it to be clean and inexpensive. The room was large and roomy. There was a bit of a musty smell (I sprayed air freshener) and the room was obviously old. The breakfast would have cost us $10 had we gone to a diner. The TV was very old, outdated but again, this was less... More

I make a ten hour journey and pass through Sikeston on a regular basis. I never wanted to stop at a motel / hotel along with way because I didn't want to pay over $100 for a place just to rest a bit during the journey, but I didn't want a dump either. So for years I have just made... More

The hotel was good enough. Clean and good sized room. It did not have a fridge which I needed. It was nice to use the Pear Tree amenities (breakfast and pool) but over all a very basic hotel. I'd agree with others.. nothing to rave about but it was clean.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. We were only looking for a place to sleep for the night. It was everything you'd expect for the price. It included a hot breakfast in the morning. Nothing to rave about. Nothing to complain about.

I know this sounds like a commercial for the Thrifty Inn but I really am pleased with this place. There's a complex of 3 motels here: The Thrifty Inn, the Pear Inn and the Drury motel. The Thrifty appeals to the traveler not wanting to pay an arm and a leg. But the Thrifty doesn't skimp on the extras. It's... More

Stayed at the Thrifty Inn Sikeston this past weekend. I needed an inexpensive option and they came through with flying colors. It was clean and the amenities at the sister hotel, PearTree Inn, were available to us at that inexpensive cost, which I thought was a great deal! The Staff was friendly, especially the breakfast hostess. They've got you covered... More
