The hallways stunk. The room had old TVS. The furniture was old and dusty and i was afraid to put my to put my luggage on the furniture.the bathroom was old and the ceiling was peeling. My patio door opened to the indoor pool and since there was not curfew for the pool, the kids in pool kept me up... More

The hotel was nice and clean. We had a king room with bedroom in a separate area. The bathroom was very basic but clean. Its a nice place if you are looking for basic accommodations. The breakfast was decent but the timer on the waffle iron was not working. The internet in our room was fine.

This old retirement home turned hotel off interstate 55 has been given a paint job and some carpeting for a makeover. Our room was more like an efficiency apartment with no kitchen. Flat screen tv s in both rooms with basic cable. Comfortable king size bed. Old building shows signs of deterioration. Strong smell of pesticides in some areas, although... More

This hotel was very clean but extremely old. Our room did not have a kitchen but it was a nice size with the bedroom being separate from the living room. The bathroom was extremely old. The staff was nice. The bed was comfortable. Even though we only paid 70 per night I am pretty sure we will not be staying... More

Lovely grounds are inviting. This is an older property that was apparently a residence for elderly people. All the rooms as suites (2 or more rooms) and some have kitchens. The lobby is spacious and opens into a large rooms that was either a dinning room or big enough to be used for parties. The bed was comfortable and there... More

This was really a suite with two rooms. One with a king size bed and attached bath. The other with a small couch and chair, large desk, and mini fridge/microwave. What a deal for $60 per night. We stayed two nights with a small child and had plenty of room. The room also had two TV's and a full closet.... More

An unusual place, with a lot of character. Huge entry lobby with curved, sweeping staircases on either side. A vast dining room, nearly empty of both tables and people when I visited for the continental breakfast. "Rooms" are apparently all suites -- certainly mine was. Staff warm and helpful. All fine, and somehow hinting of real grandeur either past or... More

Freshly painted, just scrubbed, aroma-free, two TVs, A real fridge with a bigger freezer compartment, quiet bedroom with closet space, wifi. Off sort of by itself. Breakfast in a solarium between two patios with one appealingly shaded. Stairway our of Gone with the wind. Elevator. And a real live adult human being running the desk. Gosh, I hope to stay... More

This is the second time that I've stayed at this motel, to break up a long road trip. First of all, kudos to America's best for actually providing two rooms with a suite! It's disappointing how many hotels advertise a suite and then actually provide a slightly larger than usual single room with a desk at one end. But I... More

This was a very interesting hotel . For a very decent price I was given a suite with 2 rooms and a bath . The hotel appears to have been a retirement home at some time as the facilities were quite large , including the breakfast room. It is a little difficult to find off of the freeway but is... More
