The hotel is old with modern amenities. We loved the look and feel provided by the hotel decor and architecture. The beds were very comfortable. We had a tv and wi-fi though we used neither. The rooms are small as expected in an old hotel, but interesting due to the history and look that feels quaintly old. Our biggest and... More

Clean, good sized room, nice linens, dog friendly hotel. This hotel was charming and the staff was very friendly. It is located directly across the street from the courthouse. We were travelling through the area and read good reviews of this hotel. The town appears to be going through a revitalization, which is wonderful to see. There are still a... More

One would never realize how charming this hotel is from the outside. I became nervous when approaching as it is in a revitalized area, but the hotel is very pretty inside. The staff was great, we really can't say enough about how helpful the front check in was with suggestions for places to eat with patios that were dog friendly.... More

We enjoy six nights when meeting up with other family members. Our staff at the hotel was wonderful. Housekeeping staff was very accommodating and front office staff always friendly and helpful. Spa staff was very accommodating when we sat up a multiple person appointment so that all services were occurring at the same time. Food at the restaurant was delicious.... More

We were quite looking forward to visiting Sedalia as it happened to coincide with a Scott Joplin musical festival. It turned out that the Hotel Bothell was a perfect location and an exceptional hotel. The hotel has been restored without loosing much of it's charm and character. On the ground floor is a nice lobby plus a bar area and... More

We spent a wonderful night at this beautiful Old Hotel. They did a remarkable job. The lobby is small but luxurious. The staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel, but please remember that this was an old hotel.

I was here September 2014 for a business trip. From the moment I stepped in the doors and was greeted by the friendly staff and the beautiful step back in time decor, every moment at Hotel Bothwell was a delight. The beds were extremely comfy. (I did suggest to the front desk staff they get some better pillows). The deep... More

beautiful room, great people, wonderful restaurant, great bar. Parking is horrible, location is ok, we stayed two nights, we were gone at 7:30am until 2;30pm, had not cleaned are room. A little after 3 they came to clean, but we were taking a nap. Just thought the room should've been cleaned sooner, especially since they ask for tips for housekeeping.

We spent a night here while on a short mid Missouri road trip. The room was huge and had a separate little dressing room. Marble shower, two deliciously soft and comfortable queen size beds, as well as a flat screen TV. Coffee was available, as well as tea, which we enjoyed as most hotels don't offer that in the room.... More

I characterized this hotel as quaint since historical restoration was not available. From the outside one would never guess what a jewel this hotel is inside. It is located in the historical district of Sedalia, and it is beautifully restored and furnished--a feast for the eyes. We were traveling the Katy Trail by bicycle and needed overnight accommodations. The day... More
