Overall, this is a very nice park. The bathroom and showers are fairly nice. Unfortunately for tent campers, all the bathrooms are located in the RV camping area and there are none in the tent camping area. That makes for quite a hike in the middle of the night for the tent campers. Otherwise, the campsites (for both the RV... More

Our family stayed here in our 32' Heartland a week ago. Great new park, very nice RV spots with more planned next year. Archery park, Dog park to be done in Spring of 2015 and about 7 mikes of hiking trails, 2 lakes with one being about 350 acres. You can also rent bikes, boats, and fishing is good as... More

This place is located about 30 minutes from downtown St. Louis. We tent camped for 2 nights. It felt very safe which is always a concern especially when tent camping. The man-made lake was beautiful and there were a few sculptures which added a nice touch. Lots of wildlife, yet very quiet and serene. On the last day we went... More

We decided to try this new campgrounds on our recent trip to St. Louis. It was extra clean, extra nice, plenty of space and quiet. The worst thing I could say about it is that is is NEW NEW NEW. Everything is pristine. There aren't any trees or forest areas around to camp under. This will be an amazing place... More

If you are just looking for a camping spot close to St. Charles and you don't plan to stay long, it will serve it's purpose. Upside: Great location to St. Charles, St. Peters, etc. A great path to walk around a lake. It's new so it is very clean and well kept. They have some interesting sculptures around the lake... More

This is a very nice, NEW park. We did not camp overnight here. We went for the day to kayak on the lake. It's a very peaceful lake; the shallow end is some what of a water fowl refuge and it was really nice. Clean park. Lacks in restroom facilities as it appears that hey are still in construction of... safe, off the highway enough not to be dealing with traffic noise but close enough to be convenient. we stayed several nights this week while traveling through by Motorhome from Atlanta to Boulder, CO. we wanted some place close enough to St. Louis to allow for us to go into town and explore and see the Arch (and other things)... This is probably the cleanest and safest place to stay. Located on exit 224 off the I-70, close to St. Louis, in St. Peters. This is a city run campground, winter rate for a class A . with a towed vehicle was $30.00 a night, full hook ups, and showers, laundry too. Fishing in lake and a dog park too.... More

This city park is very convenient for an overnight stay if you're on I70. Full hookups were available. Nothing special about the park, and I couldn't imagine spending a weekend unless you get a license to fish. There was a nice walking path along the lake, and the park rangers patrolled the area. I would stay again overnight as it's... More
