Upon our arrival at the airport the Ritz Carlton was to have a town car waiting for us to take us to the hotel. It was not to be found and after repeated calls we took a cab. Once at the hotel we asked them to check into what had happened and to make sure that we would not be... more

Having never stayed at a Ritz Carlton in the past, I wasn't sure exactly how the St Louis hotel compares to others. However, my expectations were high for our first stay. The lobby area is beautiful and what you would expect for a high end hotel. The rooms were very large, but a typical nice hotel room. The breakfast was... more

This is my first experience staying at a Ritz and I wasn't overly impressed. The trip was for work so it was on the firm, but I guess from what I here about the Ritz I was expecting something wow. I stayed at the hotel for 6 nights total and the staff and service were very good. Maybe it just... more

The reviews of the smoking aren't as honest as they could be. The hotel is just fine. We were disappointed we didn't get the presidential suite, so we had to settle for the executive which was fine. The lobby is quite nice, and very large. Service was just fine. And you most likely wont be able to smell smoke unless... more

Very nice room, beautiful lobby area. Only gripe is the long walk through the lobby and past the reception halls to get to the parking garage. more

I had a lovely weekend stay at the Ritz during a business trip the first weekend in November. The hotel itself is beautiful, and service first rate. I found, however, that the room was a bit disappointing. Although larger than an average hotel room, the bath tub was small, there was no coffee pot in room (which is just a... more

I had never been to ST L, and have stayed at many buisness and resort Ritz Carltons on the club level. I consider my standards to be pretty high in evaluating a hotel. First of all the area in which the hotel is located is called Clayton and is a really cool town-- clean, safe, new, and quite quaint and... more

Whenever I am back in St. Louis to see bands perform at the Pageant Theatre, I will definitely be back at the Ritz Carlton. I found that the staff were all very friendly, the hotel pool was fabulous, the room was great and overall, I have nothing negative to say about this hotel. Last time I stayed, one of the... more

I guess that the Ritz management in Clayton, Mo didn't get the memo. As I stepped in the front door, I expected to breathe in some fresh clean air from this beautiful hotel. To my horror, I had to gasp for air!! Apparently, someone didn't let the Ritz management know that it's 2007 and the days of breathing in second... more

We stayed here on our wedding night, and because it was such a special occasion they kindly put us on the Club level without being asked. Our room was very nice--comfortable bed and tub, chocolates left on pillow, plenty of closet space, and so forth--and all of the desk clerks were very polite. Also, as we were on the Club... more
