I stayed for two weeks for work and had my two-year old with me. There were numerous issues which seemed to stem from their systems and communication...but every single issue was resolved immediately and with amazing pleasantness from their front desk staff. Caitlin, Chase, Paola, Ronaelle...and really anyone else I encountered. The breakfasts at the Station Grille are fantastic. Irene... More

I simply can't say enough about the service at this hotel. Arriving late from Chicago, the staff found us a suite to stay in. The suite was lovely, but we found that we were locked IN our room...The lock broke. Security and Engineering was there right away ...and after a few minutes , we were upgraded to a bigger suite... The hotel lobby takes you back in time. The renovation is outstanding. The light show in the lobby was a wonderful end to the evening. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The people are very nice at the St Louis Union Station hotel. Armin, the server in the restaurant, was especially kind and really cared about his customers. My only real complaint was the terribly long wait for roomservice. They were understaffed and not at all prepared for a full hotel. I also wish the staff would be a bit quieter... More

My room service was only average and it was obvious that on some days all that was done was to make the bed. One morning I woke up with no coffee, and on another day I returned to find the trash had not been emptied. The food service during the conference was only adequate, particularly the breakfast. When I checked... More

Beautiful hotel with excellent, friendly, efficient staff. Meeting facilities were also top notch, though a couple of the meeting rooms were unnecessarily cool (I mean temperature--not quality). Two minor problems: Internet connection in my room was poor. I had to take my computer to another part of the hotel to use it efficiently. Other problem was food. The hotel itself... More

Very nice ambiance in lobby making it a nice welcome and a great place to relax later. Service was friendly and efficient. Room was comfortable. Restaurant was quite good with a chef that goes the extra yard - be sure to ask him for a special treat. We did and it was fantastic.

This downtown St Louis Hotel really has two wonderful and very distinctive features to highly recommend it (probably the best Doubletree in the US in my opinion). First is the building itself. I love hotel chains that seek to preserve old buildings and bring both comfort and charm and they really execute this well. The hotel is in the original... More

This was the second time I had stayed here and although the main lobby is breathtaking, the rooms left a lot to be desired. From tiny bathrooms to worn soft goods, this property could use a facelift. Staff was accommodating and readily available. The few meals we ate there were good and the bar in the lobby along with the... More
