We stayed at this hotel last year when it was a Hyatt and loved the location and ambiance. I was thrilled when I used Priceline for a room in St. Louis and ended up with Marriott Union Station. The room was very clean and nice ... the bed was so comfy I could have stayed in it all day! The... more
The hotel is easy to get to, right off of the interstate. There was plenty of self parking available. What I liked about this property: The front desk workers were friendly, and check in was quick and easy - we even got a free room upgrade. The lobby overlooks the wide open room of the old train station - which... more
Close to a lot of places, we never had to drive more than 5 minutes to find attractions, dinner, entertainment, etc. We parked valet for $19/night (or you can self park for $15/night). The lobby is gorgeous, so much so that a wedding reception was held there while we were guests! Having the mall nearby offered dining options for the... more
My husband and I recently stayed at Marriott Union Station in St. Louis and had an amazing experience! The hotel is located inside the historic Union Train Station. The building has so much character and it's beautiful inside and out! There are shops and restaurants (Hard Rock Cafe had great food and service) where you can grab a bite to... more
Went there with my wife who was running in a marathon starting across the street the next morning. First room that we were given had been used and not cleaned. Not a problem, it was an honest mistake and we were reassigned a new room and coupons for free breakfast for the next morning. The second room was very nice... more

Still awesome entrance hall and the staff was nice, unfortantely it was a hike to the rooms - the halls go on and on and..you get the point...with dizzying stripped wall paper. Had some minor cleanliness issues with the room,... more
This hotel is a standard, lower-end 3 star hotel. I do not know who comes up with the rating system for hotels, but this is by no means a four-star hotel. It's beat-up with torn wallpaper and fingerprints everywhere - just overall third-rateness. Big disappointment considering what I might have gotten elsewhere for the same price. At least the staff... more
This hotel was just nice. The first thing that you think when you pull up is "Wow, it's a castle!". Then you think "Where do I park?". But other than the parking, this hotel was one of the best I've ever stayed at. A must if you're in Saint Louis, even if you don't have a room! more
This hotel can be looked at in two different ways. If you are looking for a modern, squeaky clean, new hotel, it's not the right place for you. If you like a hotel inside a mall, food courts nearby, a couple of nice restaurants nearby, light rail access, and a historic hotel, you will love this place. We took the... more
