Wanted the Millenium (3 star) on Priceline, but Priceline "Upgraded" me without asking to a 4 star Hyatt (at Union Station). Fourth star means you pay more for amenities. Although the price was good on Priceline - $50 - there was a charge for parking (understandable in a city) and INTERNET ACCESS!! ($10). I haven't paid for Internet Access in... more

The Hyatt Saint Louis is in the old Union Station terminal. It's quite a facility, all built under the huge awning that used to shelter the train platforms. There are a number of restaurants, including a Hard Rock Cafe and a Landry's Seafood House as well as a shopping mall. The train station is a spectacular building - a full... more

I recently stayed at the Hyatt for a meeting in the downtown area. I took the light rail from the airport to the hotel, which was very cheap and easy to do. I personally didn't mind the walk through the parking lot and the "mall" to the hotel as some reviewers have. The room was one of the nicest I've... more

I got a great price of $60.00 for this hotel on Priceline. I opted to upgrade to the Regency Club room for an additional $30.00. As other reviewers have noted, this hotel is in an amazing landmark building. Here are my pros and cons: PRO: SERVICE: Excellent. From the moment I called to check on my reservation until I checked... more

My wife and I stayed here for a quick weekend getaway. We checked in late on a Friday night and left Sunday morning. Needless to say, this hotel is beautiful (as can be seen in photos). The hotel's location inside Union Station gives this hotel a distinctive feel and allows guests to browse around, shop and dine without leaving the... more

This was an good stay for the mere price of $48 on Priceline, but there were some issues with the hotel. As you have probably read, getting to the lobby of the hotel late at night (midnight for us) is a pain! We parked in the west parking lot and then found we couldn't enter the hotel lobby from the... more

The hotel has a very interesting setting with it being bang on the Union Station with its "underground"-type stores. The room was clean and comfortable. Parking tip - Park at the street for free durign weekend - or at the Druiry Inn garage at $5/ day more

The Hyatt, in the restored Union Station, is a beautiful hotel. The lobby is breathtaking. Overall, a nice place to stay. There were only a couple of "complaints" that my husband and I had. Parking is a pain unless you want to use the valet out front. Otherwise you will have to park in the back behind both the hotel... more

I recently stayed at the Hyatt for a business conference. I have mixed feelings about this hotel. I would give my room an "excellent rating", it was large, and overlooked the garden, sheets and bedding were soft and nice and they always came promptly in the morning to clean up the room. While the atmosphere of the hotel being located... more

Stayed at the hotel during a Cardinals/Cubs series. It is a great place for sports fans. Good, safe parking and the Metro-Link Station on the property. Hard Rock Cafe and a Landry's right outside. Room was very nice. Our room was on the 1st floor overlooking nothing but with the drapes drawn it was very nice. The Chicago Cubs were... more
