Just spent the weekend in downtown St. Louis. We went to the Edward Jones dome and watch the Rams. Walking distance was 6 blocks. (that was great). The arch is right behind the hotel. We booked our room at the Drury Plaza in advance. I believe we paid around $120-135 for a large room, with a great view. The section we were in had been remodeled in the last couple of years. The room was very clean with a working AC. Too many times, we have stayed at a hotel with horrible air conditioning!... more

I loved this hotel. Very nice. Great pool area as well as excercise room. Convienently located downtown a walk to the arch. I loved the carriage rides that were outside the hotel. Overall, I can honestly say this is the BEST hotel value I have EVER stayed in and I've visited a lot. Every other hotel chain should take a clue from Drury. They have my business wherever I have the option, so long as the keep this standard of excellence. This specific property has everything going for it: Location, Value, Price.... more

Hotel lobby was attractive & clean. Staff was very personable & helpful. There were good safety measures - for instance you couldn't get in the elevator without keying in your room key. My room was very clean, & I am very picky about that. My room did not have a window to the outside. I would request that next time.... more

I have some good things to say about this hotel, but I'm starting with my complaints, and it consists of one thing; the room was hot. And by hot, I'm saying 73 degrees, when I wanted 66. The only thing that wasn't perfect was access to the parking garage. Because some of the rooms are in an addition, we had to do an elevator transfer to get to the car. BUT, Staff was friendly and helpful, room and public areas inviting, and the pancakes at the free hot breakfast were very light and fluffy. more
