excellent choice for a downtown hotel in st louis if you want to stay at a nice facility, conveniently located, with reasonable rates. Sort of on the edge of a questionable area for walking too far at night but 3 restaurants within 2 blks at never felt unsafe going in the direction of those restaurants. The hotel is within walking distance of Union Station and the MetroLink which will easily get you to the Arch or Forest Park. If you are driving, the hotel has a gated garage for your car.
