This was one of the better value hotels I've stayed at in a long time and quite a pleasure. We stayed in a suite, which is in a separate building across the street from the main hotel. My husband and I just spent a wonderful weekend at the Renaissance Hotel. We stayed in the main building and the room was beautiful and the king bed was comfy, comfy (Marriott style). The Renaissance definitely had an "old world" feel. We received turn-down service in the afternoon and chocolates on our pillow. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I absolutely hated business travel -- because I typically hate hotels. But the Renaissance is truly an exception. Not a bad choice at all! more

The hotel is very nice and clean. Room was nice. No fridge and no exhaust, which I feel are important. Since we did stay a long weekend not having the fridge was not a big issue. The hotel has a Starbucks and many attractions are nearby. The Capri restaurant has an excellent variety of foods for a reasonable price.The pool... more

For anyone taking a trip into St. Louis....I highly recommend this hotel. We stayed 2 nights in the Renaissance Grand Suites in downtown. What a wonderful hotel!
