Rooms are grey and blah. Few or no restaurants nearby. Had to wait four hours before room was available. Limited number of channels on the TV, but great screen. No desk. The hotel was under construction. Main drawback, however, is that there is nothing really interesting near. About equidistant from Laclede's Land and the Cardinals ball park.

As other reviewers have noted, the Renaissance Grand is under renovation. One must check in on the mezzanine, which is cramped, and the day I checked in they were having trouble getting people into their rooms in a timely fashion.
