I truly do not understand what in the world some other reviewers were complaining about this being a bad area and feeling unsafe. The hotel was okay but a little out of town. I was only there for one night and was adequate for my purposes. The service station next door was a surprise with the amount of security which we thought was the neighborhood that we were in. However walking around the neighborhood was quite good. more

This hotel appreared very clean and in a nice area. BUT during the night there were 12 cars broken into and everything in them was taken. You may see other reviews of this hotel which call the neighborhood "iffy". While you might not want to walk the immediate area at 1 AM, safety is not really an issue. In fact, one of the newest, "hip" dining/bar areas is only a few blocks away. (Make sure you stop in Bailey's for a decadent dessert and/or chocolate martini).... more
