I have stayed in a lot of Holiday Inns and HI Expresses across the country, and this one was BY FAR the worst. Most are really nice, but this one was nasty: the carpet was sticky throughout the room, the vents were filled with dust and lint balls, the furniture was all scratched up and very old, the shower curtain... more

The hotel is in a beautiful and convenient setting. Our room was spacious and clean with a comfortable loveseat, free wireless Internet, great shower, effective blackout curtains, and choice of soft or firm pillows. My flight home from St. Louis was cancelled due to weather, so I had to call a hotel from the airport. I picked the HI Express because I've found them to be a dependably good chain with little extras that I appreciate. They had a free airport shuttle, too. Let me start out by saying that American Airlines put us up in this hotel, therefore, we paid for nothing. However, if I did have to pay to stay here, I would have asked for a refund.
