We live in Indy, and were looking for a quick weekend getaway without breaking the bank. Scott and Billy were the most gracious hosts, and we felt very comfortable and safe there, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Definitely plan to go back......restaurant next door is great too! David & Don

This stay was a surprise birthday gift to me...even though I own a Bed and Breakfast in Hannibal, I did not know what to expect. I arrived very late, about 11:30pm, and Billy and Scott were true to their word and waiting for me. Reservation was for four days over Pride weekend. I was overwhelmed on how 'relaxed' the hosts... its small only 6 rooms I think..the rooms are quite large. but the bathrooms are very small. overlooks a courtyard with a hot tub..and on the balcony you can see into the patio of the gay bar next door and flirt with the men over there..its quite fun especially if you are an exhibitionist. I always have fun staying here... More

We have been coming to the St. Louis Guesthouse for a number of years. Some years we have traveled to St. Louis only one time, but other years we have stayed 3, 4, or 5 different times. The Mardi Gras in Soulard is spectacular, and the Guesthouse is at its epicenter. It is almost like being in New Orleans French... More

This place is Awsome !!!! I have stay here twice now, I would NOT stay anywhere else while in St.louis. The rooms are VERY clean and historic to the area. The owners are friendly and cutious, (stop and chat with them for a while) awsome guys !!!!They have a VERY private court yard with a hotub , did not feel... More

This is a tricky one. Our upgraded room (who knew why) was large but we were strongly urged to only use one bed since we were upgraded after all. OK. Bathroom is beyond tiny with no room to sit on the stool and close the door. Room had old style atmosphere that was very charming with a big window, lace... More

This was a great hotel with a gay theme. There were three gay bars all in walking distance of the hotel. This place reminds me of the "CASTRO" in San Francisco with less stress. I had a great time and Gary is a great host. I have stayed here four times in the past and will stay there again next... More

I stayed in this Guesthouse for two nights and believe me, I slept with one eye open. Firstly, let me say that the owner, Gary could not be nicer as a host or person. He was very pleasant, cordial and very helpful. I found this on a website called Purple Roofs, which has been a good site to find gay... More
