Amenity wise, it was awesome. Cocktail hour, Cookies, Tesla town car service? OMG yes. Right where everything cool is? Yes. The hotel felt contemporary and metropolitan. The fact that the rooms weren't huge actually added to my experience, I think. It felt "right." Like living downtown for a night or two.

u_shavera OMG back atcha! We're so glad it "felt right" and we think that fits in nicely with our tag line of "It Feels Good Here!!!" Nice spin on our idea, so thanks for sharing that one! We love it. We're close to everything cool, but more importantly, YOU ARE COOL to us! Thanks for the super nice comments. See... More

Great location that was near train stations so a car was not necessary to get places. Staff (especially Antoinette and Astashia) were friendly and offered great advice on restaurants and attractions. Chicken vegetable soup was creamy and delicious; continental breakfast was just what we wanted. We are not beer/wine drinkers, so the "happy hour" was OK. Loved, loved, loved the... More

The work extremely hard and we'll share your comments with them. They will be sooooo thrilled. See you next trip. We'll work on a "girls... More

I stayed here on October 10-12, 2014 for our wedding. Hotel is a beautiful hidden treasure of the city. Only complaint that I have is that they did a poor job of cleaning up after the construction. Room was very dusty, still had drywall dust everywhere, needed to be swept very good, dirt in corners, and sloppy work on the... More

sadlucktraveler We really appreciate the feedback, especially coming from a designer. The staff is working tirelessly on the finishing touches and we certainly hope most don't notice. As for your room being dusty, that's simply not good. We have a manager checking on your specific room, so thanks for letting us know. Hope you come back and give us another... More

Wonderful experience with my daughter and 2 grandchildren for fall break. Staff was friendly, helpful. Room was spacious, clean and modern. Lobby/lounge areas were beautiful with historic charm. Our room had 2 queen beds with flat screen in the bedroom area. Living room area with couch, chair, desk and flat screen was separated from bedroom with french doors. The kids... More

Janice N What a pleasure to read your review. Truly. And while we like those other cities, STL is head and shoulders the best!!!! How about them cookies? They're good aren't they? We're super excited that you had a terrific time with the grand kids. Come back soon and often! We'll heat up the chocolate chips in anticipation of your... More

I stayed at the Magnolia during the week of October 3rd. I arrived into St. Louis and the first hotel I stayed in, the Courtyard Marriott, was terrible. I was referred to the Magnolia and I am soooo glad I followed up. First, the front desk staff was absolutely fantastic. I was not able to check in early but the... More

tracie d Outstanding for us that "those other guys" weren't for you! Our brand is simply different and we're proud of that. Reviews like this only strengthen our tag line. It Feels Good Here. Sounds like our amazing front desk staff just did what they enjoy doing - treating people well. We'll pass your note along to them. Thanks again... More

We love The Magnolia in Denver and in Omaha, so this was our first choice in St Louis. We were not disappointed. The reservations were handled very easily with Dan. The valet are efficient and welcoming. Of course, there is always the wine reception in the evening and they put you to bed with milk and cookies. The breakfast was... More

Recently stayed at this renovated hotel. It still has the charm of the hundreads of years of architecture, inside and out, but with modern amenities. The elevators are small (not good for claustrophobics) but quick. Our room with 2 double beds had a nice sitting area with double doors to the bedroom. Both rooms have t.v. The bathroom was clean... I took a small group from my job for a work conference and we stayed at The Magnolia. We were within walking distance from the America's Center and other downtown amenities. I was in town for 5 days on business. The location is excellent; just 1/2 block from the convention center. The service is friendly across all areas. The room was large and extremely clean. The bed was comfortable and had SIX pillows! I would definitely stay here again.

Cpsadp2 So now if i read this right, you LOVED the 6 pillows??? Some times its the little things (or a lot of things) that make a difference. I couldn't agree with you more. I love the beds but all those pillows are just out of this world! It'd make for a big pillow fight, but we don't want to... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel over the weekend and he surprised me with an upgrade to the Cary Grant Suite which was fabulous!!
