Great hotel...reserved a suite at a decent price and the room was clean and nice. No fridge in the room but that was ok. The location is excellent and only 3 blocks from the metro. One perk....we got there an hr early and they had our room ready!

When we try yo check in had too wait in line 30 minutes or more check inn and headed up to room hallways had a very nasty smell had to wait 10 minutes for a elevator to open up and also had too pay 16.00 dollars a day for parking two blocks away. I don't think we will book again.

We stayed here for the World Series because it was one of the few hotels that still had rooms available. It is an old hotel so some things were to be expected but this is definitely not 3 star. Overall the room was nice and everything appeared to be clean although the layout was kind of strange with the TV... More

When we first walked into this hotel for our honeymoon, we were excited. The lobby is beautiful with old world class and charm. Once we got to the room our initial thoughts were still high. But then we started to realize all the hotel basics that were missing. No refrigerator or microwave. No breakfast. Subpar wifi. No restaurant/bar. Peeling wallpaper... More

Was recommended by a colleague as having historic charm, rooftop bar and pool (and the Renaissance next door was sold out). It was old, alright. For two nights there was NO HOT WATER, no internet, no facilities (coffee shop, bar, as listed on the website). Everything in the room was unplugged. No batteries in the TV remote, the clock didn't... More

We had a room with a queen bed and couch that opened for two for four of us when we attended the Joyce Meyer convention. We were treated well and had great service with a man named Michael who went above and beyond his job description to make our stay wonderful! He carried our luggage and told us how to... More

Got a nice sized suite that had two queens and a separate room with a pull out couch for a group of five of us. The room was rather dirty, especially the bathroom. The lamp and phone were unplugged in the main room and I found a used straw behind the curtain. Seems like someone was just lazy and didn't... More

The Mayfair has so many issues. From a check in that took 45 min to aging rooms. Sold out night and the two women who were checking everyone in were also answering the phone ect. The staff definitely has an attitude and are poorly trained. I did not see a uniform of any type, hard to distinguish staff from patrons.... More

We booked a room that was promised a week in advance as a king with a pull out couch. We got into our room and there was a bed and a chair with a musty smell in the air. I immediately called the front desk and literally found myself asking, "why are you being so rude to me?" I was... More

We stayed at the hotel in August. The front desk staff were the rudest staff that i have ever dealt with as a travel agent. There was only ONE nice staff member during our stay and he worked evenings and tho i did not get his name, i did understand he was in the service at some point and he was... More
