My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel over the weekend and he surprised me with an upgrade to the Cary Grant Suite which was fabulous!! I felt like I was walking into a room from a movie set...so opulent and reminiscent of Old Hollywood. The only thing I would change about our room is that we had no phone... More

Christy P Wow, we're very jealous now. Your boyfriend surprised you with a suite, helicopter ride, etc.! He sounds pretty awesome. But what makes him really awesome is he chose to do this with us! We're very grateful and truly appreciate your kind comments. As for the other comments, we love 'em. Constructive feedback is always appreciated around here, so... More

We recently visited St. Louis for parents' weekend at Washington University and had the opportunity to stay at the Magnolia Hotel. Loved the location and found the hotel to be very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were happy with the breakfast selection, but hope in the future they will have better coffee. Our room was small, but... More

pamayawaa First, GO BEARS!!!!!! And kudos to your son or daughter as it's a great school. As to your 2nd night, we're bummed about that. You are right, we have a few bugs to work out and we're hustling to fix 'em. Trust me, the staff is working so hard to get everything perfect. As for the coffee, that doesn't... More

This is a beautiful old building with an updated modern decor. Was very nice and perfectly located. I had one room that was small (they mentioned it at check in, offered another room 'shortly' but I told them I didn't care). the other room was much larger. The staff is wonderful. The elevators were quick. the happy hour was perfect... More

Jeanm32 Well, what can we say except thanks. The lifts were quick, the staff was awesome and happy hour was a dream. Perfect stay. Kidding aside, thanks so much. We're new to the market, we're working very hard and comments like yours are just a blessing in disguise for the staff. Thanks, you have no idea how much it means... More

Finally! A hotel in downtown St. Louis that is not a cookie-cutter corporate hotel. I stayed here with my husband and 2 year old son and couldn't have been happier. The room was huge (2 queen bed suite) and had a separate living area- perfect for nights when our son was sleeping and we wanted to stay up for a... More

FrankieDoggie Well now...your response is simply charming and a KICK to read! Thank you. Our staff genuinely does like what they do and it is a combination of St. Louis warmth and the Magnolia is a big family that truly enjoys what we do. It is an older building (actually on the National Historic Register), which is why we bought... More

Wanted somewhere central as in town just to watch NFL, but when we got back to the hotel room service had already stopped, and there are no in-room snack bars/fridges, or any other means to get a drink or snack as there aren't even any vending machines in the building. Rooms also tiny for the $

Daniel I Well that's certainly not good news to us. Next time you are here, let us know that you'll be getting in late and we'll have something prepared for you upon your return. We certainly want to make sure you have a good meal and a cocktail with us. Sorry we fell short on this one, but we do... More

Great downtown location and friendly staff. Clean and comfy room. The only complaints I have are that there was no safe or mini fridge in the room- both of which I think are pretty standard in most hotel rooms, and in this price range should definitely be in each room. The plumbing also seemed to be pretty dated. I understand... More

tripperjoe Reading this made us feel fabulous, so for that, thank you. Plumbing fixtures are a bit dated in some rooms. Our outstanding engineering team is working tirelessly to get them changed out. We'll get there very soon, but hopefully the shower was a refreshing way to wake up in the beautiful room nonetheless. Thanks for the honesty on that... More

My husband and I stayed at the Magnolia Hotel for a weekend. We can't say enough great things about our stay. The hotel has been newly renovated...with beautiful stained glass windows, nice details in the architecture and interior decoration. The entire hotel (lobby, bar/restaurant, elevators, fitness center, our room) was very clean. The hotel was only a 15-20 minute ride... More

Beautifully remodeled property with gorgeous, spacious rooms. The evening wine hour, breakfast, cookie bar and Tesla rides are a nice treat. Our driver, Kevin, took great care of us! Would definitely go back.

Although our view was not the best our stay was very comfortable. The hotel staff is nice and friendly. The room service was delicious. The only thing I didn't care for was having to listen to the neighbors television all night long. Other than that our stay was very enjoyable and I would definitely stay there again! Plus the walk... Derek N Thanks for the super nice review. We're super sorry about those noisy neighbors, it does happen at times. Next time you call, let us know and we'll put you in a quiet room in the corner and try to get you a view as well. It's a nice walk to the stadium, but next time, ask our valet... More
