Incredibly gracious hosts made sure we had all we needed for our stay in the adorable Attic accommodations, complete with our own balcony. Great location to enjoy shopping, dinning, or just walking along the Missouri River (right in our backyard). We ate at Lewis & Clarks, "shook hands" with Daniel Boone's statue and could almost hear the covered wagons of... More

Amazing weekend trip! We stayed in the cottage and had a huge water jet tub, walk in shower with seating inside, a living room and huge kind bed for only $250 a night for the weekend. Worth every penny and the breakfast was delicious! Very happy for what we paid. The owner gave us recommendations for dinner on 'The Hill' and... More

Had a wonderful stay here over July 4th. We occupied two rooms upstairs overlooking Boone's Lick Trail Road and loved having the balcony/porch to sit out on and watch the fireworks and street action. The rooms were nice. Linda and Venetia, who take care of the Inn, were great. Linda's breakfast was excellent and she went out of her way... More

The room (#5) was NOT as advertised on their website. Expected completely different decor. The photo on the website was light, airy, soft and femine (white dust ruffle, cushion on the chair, nice lamp, bedside table, very Laura Ashley). In real life, it's dark, masculine and musty (brown dust ruffle, brown sheets, no cushions, dark leather chair, substandard toiletries, very... More

Stayed at Boone's Lick while attending a genealogy conference in St. Charles in May. Had Room 6 on ground level called 'garden room.' The window looks out upon brick patio which has not been tended in a long time. Room appears okay upon entering, but didn't take me long to realize it was very inconvenient -- bed high - need... My husband and I have stayed at the Boone's Lick Trail Inn 4-5 times over the years. Rooms are clean and neat, appointed with antiques and bed was comfortable. Linda is friendly, helpful and makes a great breakfast. We like the back rooms with the porch, but there are nice outdoor spaces around back. Easy parking. On the end of... More

The accommodations were fine and the location fun but customer service was not great- unprofessional- and the breakfast was terrible. If I spend the extra money for a B&B then I expect killer customer service and a delicious homemade breakfast. The breakfast was too prepackaged and slightly nauseating. We will not be going back. We paid $240 for our stay... More

We arrived to check in at 2pm as instructed, but the door was locked and there was a sign posted to ring the bell. We rang it. And rang it again. I finally called after waiting several minutes to have housekeeping let us in. Their entry system is a bit annoying. They have private parking so you don't have to... More

lovely bed and breakfast, perfect location, wonderful hosts. First time St Charles visitors, enjoyed the Irish festival. Room was spacious enough, bed was comfy, off-street parking, separate entrance. Easy to get to. We would definitely stay again and recommend highly.

My friend and I were excited to stay at a B&B we found on line in St. Charles to walk the town. I told the owner I was not able to do but a few steps due to my knee; so she gave us the Innkeepers Quarters which she said had a few. When we arrived there were 7 wooden,... More
