Its a bit of a drive from Rolla to go to Ft Leonardwood but this place makes it worth it. Hosts were great. The Hot Tub was great. Rooms very clean. A bit on the traditional side of decorating. Very nice stay.

We went to A Miner Indulgence so that our son could visit and tour the campus. Ron and Barb were wonderful hosts, and Ron was especially valuable as he is a professor. The home is beautiful and full of gorgeous antiques. Upstairs, our room had a fold out couch for our son and there was a library full of books... More

Ron and Barb were wonderful hosts while my husband and I were in Rolla for my 45th (gasp) class reunion. Discovered that Ron had been teaching at UMR at the same time my father did. Huge room, deer and variety of birds out the back windows. I recommended it to everyone I talked to at my reunion. Ron and Barb... More

Overall an ok experience. The rooms upstairs were a little stuffy and more warm than my liking. Breakfast was delicious but the hosts were a little too chatty.

We recently spent one night at A Miner Indulgence and our only complaint is that we wish we had discovered it years ago. Barb and Ron are delightful hosts; our room was clean, comfortable, and incredibly spacious; and breakfast was truly a treat. The home is filled with interesting antiques and plenty of information on local attractions and restaurants. You... More

Booked three nights at this B & B for my son's graduation at Fort Leonard Wood. The bed was comfortable and like home. Barb makes a wonderful breakfast - you won't need lunch. Ron is a college professor and knows a lot about local history. They had a lot of helpful suggestions on local attractions and restaurants. Ron made a... More

A Miner Indulgence was an excellent B&B. The whole house is so quiant and filled with nick-nacks and antiques. The owners were very welcoming and accommodating providing wine, a hot tub and an absolutely fabulous breakfast of French Toast, Yogurt, Fruit etc. We had a little trouble finding the house because it's set back off the road and not numbered...
