This is one of my favorite fishing places in Missouri. Although you will pay a fair amount to fish, either keep and catch or all release, you will certainly get your money's worth. The accommodations are clean and the variety available can suit any size group/price. Dining is wonderful and the portions appropriate. I would give the entire operation an... More

We spent a "girl's" weekend get-a-way at Rockbridge. We stayed in the Williams Place, which had a hot tub, fireplace and terrific view. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We ate breakfast and dinners at their restaurant and we loved it. The trout was obviously fresh and cooked to perfection. The staff was attentive and personable. I'll be ordering some... More

We have visited Rockbridge Rainbow Trout Ranch 8+ times over the past 10-12 years. For trout fishing novices, families or those who just want a peaceful, easy trout fishing experience, one can't beat the Trout Ranch. First, the setting is beautiful and the stream crystal clear clean and easy to wade. Get a handful of wooly buggers at the lodge... More

Spent two very restful nights and 1/2 day fishing. First the fishing, lots of fish in the water, just stocked 200 in my area of stream that morning. The accommodations were basic to slightly upscale. We stayed in two suite rooms, 108 loud AC, 107 smaller, fewer windows, darker, quiet AC. The beds were clean, soft and warm in both.... More

My family has been making the annual pilgrimage to Rockbridge since the early 70's, for the week leading up to Easter. We have two families that attend from Kansas City and St. Louis. I am in my 20s and have been coming here since I can remember, and I now have a family of my own that comes down with... More

My husband and I have spent many days fly fishing the waters at the Rainbow Trout & Game Ranch. The fish are large fighters! A clean, friendly, comfortable stay with each and every instance. Sandy and her staff are always accomodating and sincere. In the lodge the food is tasty and substantial. The varied trout dishes superb! The atmosphere casual... More

The fishing is easy - they stock the stream with the fish they grow in their fish hatchery ponds. You will catch lots of fish in a short amount of time. The fish do taste like they came from a fish hatchery and do not taste like wild trout. We visited the hatchery. The fish food's main ingredient is wheat... More

What q wonderful weekend. Took my 4-year old grandson on his first fishing trip. The attention span for a boy that age is about 3 fish! He had his new Spiderman spin cast setup and caught (then lost) his first 2 fish. MY fault since I forgot the net. Got a net, he caught #3 that went about 2 lbs.,... More

Our family has been going to Rockbridge for over 35 years! If you want to get away from it all this is the place to go. The property is beautiful, the staff is wonderful and the food is amazing. Be sure to have the skillet toast with your breakfast and save room at dinner for their homemade desserts. Fishing could... More

This place was really a surprise. It's in the middle of nowhere, and has a really nice restaurant. A bit pricey, but the trout is fresh from their clean-water river. Their bread is fantastic. My relative said her popcorn shrimp was great. The restaurant itself was very big and nice, with things like t-shirts and hats you could buy at... More
